Right!! My provari and DID bounces around all day in my cup holder in the rig (very rigid setup). I kept having the urge to reach for my old ashtray all the time so I decided its were my PV should be. No fill screw inserted either. Vertical is a must. If Im lucky enough to score a ZAP I promise to take her everywhere with me and show her some sights and alot of sunrises/sunsets, take her to a bar late on the weekends, get her juiced up, take er home, and vape the .... out of her LOL :D

I guess that helps some, but still doesn't excuse the other driver. She obviously drove into the intersection when it was not safe to do so. I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your cousin and the rest of the family involved. I imagine the driver of the other vehicle must be feeling rather awful and now has to live with this knowledge for the rest of her life. If I remember correctly, she had her kids in the car with her. What a tragedy for all involved.
Meant to update about my cousin's son (her 17 year old son that was killed) It appears the truth has finally came out and Scott was wearing a helmet and didn't run the red light.
Here's the story that ran in the paper yesterday.......

Teen in fatality was wearing helmet, had right-of-way | StAugustine.com

Thank you. And yes, she did have her teens in the car and their family is devasted too. :(

I'm glad that my cousin knows that her son wasn't doing anything wrong that took his life. I also don't think doing anything to the woman driving the SUV will help, she will suffer from this for the rest of her life. She wasn't drinking or under the influence of drugs, she made a careless mistake is all.

Thicker wire has less resistance. For example if you made a 3 wrap coil with 32 Kanthal the total ohms may be around 1.8. If you use 28 Kanthal and make the same 3 wrap coil it will be much lower probably closer to 1ohm. The vapor will be hotter and I would imagine you would have more throat hit. The above numbers are just examples, I don't know what the actual resistance would be.

So thicker wire gives more vapor? Does it give less throat hit? Is there a trade off as you change the thickness?

it seems like you also have to take into account which device you are using too? a 3 wrap on a zenesis would blow me out of the water but on a different hybrid, it's barely enough...
