It's pretty much impossible and suicidal to start at the beginning now. There were only 17,000 posts or so when I did it. There are over 73,000 posts now!

Yeah, I've got about 25000 to read before I am to the point where I started.

You got that right. The only way my Ti Standard would ever leave my hands is in exchange for a Ti Mini.

If I had a standard I would make that trade any day. Just like the way 18350 devices fit in the hand. Tried a Paps 18650 and just thought that size was way too big. I'm definitely in the size over battery life camp.

Power back on, good morning everyone!

Power line snapped just outside my bedroom window - reminded what real voltage can and will do. The cable actually ate through concrete and dug itself in... The initial arc was like nothing I've heard before. I was reading some Genetics papers last night and one thing lead to another and I ended up re-reading passages of my favorite Dawkins books before I went to bed. So then I am suddenly awoken by a monumental flash and an out-of-this world boom! I'm like... ...., I was wrong, Dawkins was wrong, and here's the big guy to set me straight :) It took several minutes to get back to all my senses and understand what actually had happened; it was beautiful. Man made thunder, really, sparking a brief paralysis of reason and then understanding clearing things up.

The cables continued to arc on the ground, sparking small fires for almost an hour until they cut power!

in the hope zen will make one for me it would be my prized possession

I'd be in for one too. Zen likes to shake things up, and has said on more than one occasion that he will do another run of Ti's. It would not surprise me in the least if he did an AYS Ti. Not necessarily called the AYS, but a mini with a standard tank.

Troubleshooting Tip...........

Don't be an idiot like I was.........

After I cleaned the switch, did a Snap, Crackle, and Pop, fiddled with coils, and added more nic to my ejuice, all to no avail..........I changed the battery. I was just having too much fun using only the Ti and forgot I hadn't changed the battery in ages.........LOL

Ok, so it took me all day and then some to pick a flavor; It's really hard deciding what to fill your tank with when you have mostly 6ml-10ml bottles of juice and you only like a small handful of the juice you have lol.

Is there any juice that will react adversely with or crack/shatter the fuzed quartz tank on the ZAU?

Been there, done that. I wanted something different yesterday and it took all day to find something to stick with. Ironically, I ended up right back with what I started with.

Hey I just met you,
and this is crazy.
But here's my GENI.

So VAPE me baby. :vapor:

Hystericalness

On another note- you guys tried KBV's rootbeer yet? Pretty good stuff. Reminds me of the beer barrels of old.

It's one of my all days. LOVE IT!!!

So what's the consensus on using Noalox/No-Ox or similar on the button? Should I just coat the outer threads that screw into the battery tube? Perhaps put some on the screw? I thought I'd read a post about Zen mentioning to NOT use any of these things on the button...

I used a nail file lightly over the screw and it hits every time now. No need for noalox.

For the record, I did not drop any bombs. And that post was meant as a joke. Not my fault you took me seriously.

OMG.... I'm imagining K-man's face when he saw that post though.... access denied, start at the beginning.

Good afternoon all. I picked up my zatty U last night and I can say I have not put it down but to sleep. I can see why Zen makes the draw as so. It so relaxing not having to pull so hard and get CLOUDS of vapor. It really is ZEN like.

I thought I wanted a stiffer draw and put my stiff draw cap on the first day.... then switched back and forth and found that I preferred it as Zen intended it, with the original cap.

If I had a standard I would make that trade any day. Just like the way 18350 devices fit in the hand. Tried a Paps 18650 and just thought that size was way too big. I'm definitely in the size over battery life camp.

Me too. Thanks again to everyone at Rat's BBQ for letting me touch, hold and/or vape your standards. It gave me a good feel for whether or not I'd like one, and put an end to my chase for any of the 18650 devices. Any Zen is gorgeous, but I prefer the way a mini feels in my hand. Having carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis, the form factor makes it much easier for me to have something closer to the size of my hand.... and the light resistance magnet setting is also crucial.

My take on Noalox. Noalox stands for "no aluminum oxide". Why would I use that on a SS or Ti APV? Having said that, like someone said (was it you, dearme?) if you must, us no-ox-I'd a special (a conduct enhancer). BUT, Zen~ emphatically said NOT to use even that.
