Bad taste usually comes down to hot spot or poor wicking. Trying putting a drop or two directly on the wick and take a test pull.
If it tastes better I would guess wicking. If not hotspot.
Make sure your wick is not above the positive screw, not even a little bit. That's a sneaky major short that you might not notice.

see if you can slide a paperclip down the wick and that there are no obstructions. Maybe even vape it with a battery that's not fully charged for a bit. If you don't have any shorts, trust me, that harsh taste will go away, and when it does, be ready for the nic high you're going to be on cuz you will not put it down for a while!

I guess I could see how pieces of stainless steel mesh, wires, high power batteries and bottles of "mysterious" fluid could be considered a little iffy by an airline lol.

Wick isnt touching anything and is cut about 3/16 below post and the coil is somewhat angled up

Well said...I miss Mike too, although I havent been here that long, I love when he comes in here. He is such a cool dude and extremely generous, he even told me how to make a zen when I asked. Even though he hasn't been in here lately I think we all can take that as a positive thing, because it means he's working his .... off making us all zens!
Their cake is my all day...I just looked at my bottle and I need to reorderOn another note.....trying Copper Creek's House blend today. It's difficult for me to describe the flavor, but it's good. I got their Twisted Tobacco and Voo's Broo too. I'm looking forward to trying the Voo's Broo later. They say it's been compared to ry4, and I love ry4
I went thru about 55mls this past month. The house blend was good but i prefer bobas over it. Now that Voos Broo is some strong $httt! @ 18mg I only ordered the 15ml bottle but only vaped it when I was drinking to give me that extra punch. Might have to try it a little lower next time
Ive tried a bunch of different ry4s and haven't been wowed by any til I tried Rawrs JY4. It used to be my all day. I even went back to it for a week or so, but the genny really packs a punch for me @ 18mg so im gonna have to step down a notch for my next order...Kick myself in the @$$ for not loading up on labor day sale.

Strawberry cantaloupe is killer! every time I reorder JY4 from him I usually add a couple new fruit flavors. StRAWRberry is good too but I prefer the strawberry cantaloupe more. Poison apple is really good...hint of tobacco and hint of apple. Im really not a fan of the fruit vapes but RAWR's stuff is probably the only ones Ive tried that dont taste fake/perfumey. Plus he always throws in a free sample bottle! Love getting free stuff, but then again who doesnt

)So I got some 28ga kanthal this week and havent given it a go yet because Im still a total noob at wrapping a coil on this thing without gettin E error codes right and left on my ProV. I had some 33ga on there and it was working like a champ all week long...Last night I popped my cap off because my flavor was getting muted. It had a massive ball of caked up gunk on the coils which took me about a week to build up. I decided to dry burn it off and clean it off. But this never turns out well for me for some reason.
after I got her clean I was dry burning and then came the infamous E codes, dropped my volts down to 3.3 and started nudging away at the coils(thanks to this thread for all the info on coil "nudging") to fix the short. Well the coil broke at the positive post, then came the offensive language and anger towards my DID. I said the heck with it cleaned it all up and left it for this morning when I could be in a better less drunk mood.After about 2 hours, 4 coils, and more offensive language, I got the 28ga wrapped up and working without shorts. WOW was that tedious task
The thickness of this stuff is just redick. For the first time ever I had to "line" my wick to keep it from getting all fubar'd from this gerthy kanthal. Oh yea, 7 wraps(1.5o's) too was quiet a challenge to get em all glowing evenly. Can't go with any less than that because my ProV is a V1 and I dont want to go back into E code land again...maybe one day Ill send er in to provape and spend the 20 bucks to upgradeIm just thankful I had the patience not to give up on it, which I also gained from this thread.

Eliquid travels with your carry-on stuff exactly the same as any other liquids. Follow the 3-1-1 rule and you will be fine. You must have no larger than 3.4 ounce bottles (100 ml), in one 1 quart zippered baggie (but as many bottles of all the kinds of liquids/gels, etc. you are carrying as will fit in the baggie are okay), that you place separately in a tray.

ok, you watched the video before wrapping? try turning the apv when wrapping the coil instead of keeping it stationary. this helps in making it not too tight. if you can see any gaps between the coil and wick, it's too loose. you want to be able to gently rotate that wick. matter of fact, give that a twist and see if that works out the shorts

true that...the dragon was pushed back until this winter from august, originally planned....and i suspect it will get pushed back even further as he also mentioned production of the cf too....the sidewinder and wmz will definitely be the next ones to be released, other than the work on the cobalts and pchelas....
I searched and tried to find some info on the dragon but came up empty. What's the story on this upcoming mod?
