actually, it's the grade quality...316 is better suited, less pollutants (per se) than 304... the '400' or '325' that Zen~ supplies is the strands per inch for 316 grade ss mesh...
I have quite a bit as well....and I still do. I bought 225ft of 32ga A-1 Kanthal to use with my old iatty and odysseus, long before getting my first zenesis...now add up the 5 cards of kanthal supplied with the ones I now have....

yep i know but i got some 270x270 mesh they only do it in 304 ss but all my 325 is 316 ss

when all was said and done, i managed to come out of it with a 127 average. the first week of bowling sets the average, so I was a little scared when I had one good game (169) then it all settled into my predictably unpredictable routine
This...this is the conclusion I came to this morning after having several frustrating situations.
I was like, Ok, Zen makes a wick in like 3 minutes and keeps talking about how easy it is. I'm going to do a wick up Zen style and see what happens. Quick torch, 3 quenches and burns...and yep, it worked.

the reasons for Mike opting for the 316 is it's medical/pharmaceudical grade, has 2% less chromium than 304 and has a higher heat threshold to break it down...

I want more, too. More than my SS Mini & the-soon-to-come BAM. I hope Mike creates a new limited edition of some sort that revolves around a Mini form factor with a 5 ml tank, like the AYS....
