I will have the dinner thing figured out by the time you guys are at the hotel. I am thinking a nice steak place? Something in the downtown area that is legendary, but not pretentious.


I'm good with Italian (usually a let down), American (steaks it is), French (a real favorite), Sushi, or one of those fusion themes.

I will have a few choices scoped out, by the time you're knocking on my door.

Steak works great for me. Rat too. I'm a sushi freak but would bet Rat isn't. But I'm very easy so I'll be cool with whatever you find. A nice "unwind" dinner in a great place with great company the night before the festivities, will be just what the doctor ordered

I think Crypto will be in town Thursday too. Too far back to remember but I'm sure he'll chime in.

You know.....I'm a restaurant freak, and former Seafood and Steakhouse owner and......I've never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse. Ever. Not even in Vegas where it's all the rage.

Um this is a longer trip for dinner then my trip from Raleigh to Richmond!!!!!

I'll do it, but you better really want this, because it's a LONG DRIVE!!!

There's nothing like a Fogo.... Avoid the salad bar, and FYI, you'll be in a meat coma for about a week.... Consider yourself warned...

No worries, I will do some looking for a nice, place that is laid back, serves steaks et al. The more the merrier. I will have a few choices lined up.

No you guys are clear of me on Thursday night. I fly in on Friday, around 10:30am.

well folks, even after Andyman and Illustrated's (thanks anyways guys, I do appreciate them) invitations for a ride, I still won't be able to make it..I have to deal with some paperwork tomorrow at work, my dentist's appt will not be moved because I have one of 2 doctor's appt's tomorrow as well...the 2nd with a cardiologist on monday... at least I found out about my slight health problem before something real bad happened..


....On the 24th of this month, it'll be 2 years that I've been off the analogs, at least I can say that for my health

Would love to meet you at VC but there will be another VC (I hope) next year. 2 years smoke free has probably helped your health tremendously! I wish you the best at all your dr's appts!
