OMG!
My back and feet hurt, and I don't know if I can get to sleep tonight.....
but I am soooo glad I came.
I have a few more pics I'll post here in a few minutes.
First, I'm stoked I got the blue line.
The answer was staring us in the face, but it was fun guessing.
And.... it's a beautiful piece.
I could try to tell you all what it was like meeting old friends for the first time, and watching and being a part of a group of semi-like-minded people, talking and sharing and laughing, but there really isn't a way to describe it.
I was simply blown away.
I saw people who only knew each other from words on a screen interacting like they'd been buddies for years.
I myself had a few device issues and one guy or another would just take it and work on it like it was their own.
And I thank you for that:
K-Man, Chief Thunder, Rat, Ripple. Love you guys.
Talk was about everything A to Z, and it took my daughter and I an hour and a half to leave tonight.
Every time we headed for the door, there was one more person to hug, another to touch base with, a newbie to talk with.
It was wonderful.
The costume contest was fun, and Twiggy made an excellent speech.
It was touching and brought tears to my eyes.
There were a few not so nice things that happened, but I won't think about them tonight.
Zen was outstanding.
He said at one point that he was just overwhelmed.
He was everywhere at once, everyone seemed to want his attention.
Someone else has already posted that he was talking, advising, adjusting, fixing, etc. etc. etc.
I so enjoyed meeting everyone. I just can't say it enough.
Typed words and pictures just can't convey the atmosphere.
Mark you calenders and try to make the next one!
