Yea that was a prototype amd Zen said that it will be avaiable in the furure
What mike is going to make available in the future is a cap that will replace the tank on the. SW that you will then be able to use with anything with a 510 connection.

It was great meeting everyone in person @ VC. The new toys are vaping great now, a little trial n error @ first. SW & Cobalt are now vaping like a champ!!

Tough decision now I don't know if I want to get a Provari with a ZAP or a Zenesis Hybrid. I was going to wait for the Sidewinder but can already tell with the stuff I have heard people not liking about it and also seeing the materials it is made out of it just wouldn't satisfy need.

What I see with this SideWinder are enough options / configurations to build a company, just on this platform.. I suspect we will be seeing several modifications of this unit in the future..

I believe that has to do with the anodizing that is in the threaded area (that the switch screw screws into), I sanded the top of of that part but have to way to get into the threaded area to remove the anodizing. Take a fully SS switch and screw it to your Cobalt and you will see a big difference. I went with a solid wick of 500 mesh cut to 40mm wide, and using an insulator. It keeps the length of Kanthal used to wrap a coil short so the resistance is small. I did a 4 wrap on mine but at the event I worked on one of Grammie's and with the fat wick, I took it down to a three wrap and she was really happy with that and it was producing great vapor. Mine is vaping great but not has hot as I like with a 4 wrap, so I'm just gonna vape away till Mike gives me a good tip on how to remove the anodizing out of the push button threads.

I have the same dealeo with my cobalt. The original coil is out on mine now, put a hotter coil on it. But even then, I am not getting the heat I am used to... The switch seems to be OK, batts are fine and clean, all I can figure is it is all the mass of the thick wick. So gonna try a thinner wick here today. Just leave it thick going into the tank/wick hole, and thin the wick that is in the chamber... That thick wick does wick great!
ETA: So I took the coil off, cut the thick wick just a hair above the bottom of atomizer chamber, used a small phillips screwdriver shaft (~2mm thick) to round the wick after cutting, took a thin wick that I had from Mike, dropped it down into the thick wick center, coiled it up. Vaping like a champ now for me
YMMV of course Also. Regarding the anodizing. The base of the bat tube is raw, and the knurled part of the switch is also raw, it just has to make good contact there. Also inside switch, the spring makes contact with raw alum inside and that must be clean. It will fire as it should as long as those pieces/parts are clean. Back the switch off a micro turn (OK.. 1/8 of a turn
) and the Cobalt will not fire. I like this, as I do not have to back it off so far as the mini/standard to prevent firing in a pocket.

The only place I would want to remove the anodizing is in the threaded area where the switch screw screws into. It's a tight hole with threads (and I REALLY like tight holes) but don't want to damage the threads or ruin the anodizing on the rest of the button. I am vaping like a champ on it but when I put one of my SS switch's on the cobalt it is the hotter vape I am use to with a 4 wrap....not a big deal today but hope to have Mike lead me in the right direction later. (like he did with his suggestion on how to remove the fat magnet that was stuck in my Ti)

Though I do use Easy Off on my Harley to get melted boot soles off the chrome

LOL....many of my buddies use EAZY OFF on their chrome, I could never to it, I just use a little extra umph and some Masers Formula.
