I was standing at a vendor table, with Zen in hand, (device, not Mike) looking at various things they had on offer.
I know the guy had to have seen what I was holding.
And yet, he started spouting off to the guy next to him how he couldn't sell a thing.
There was no way he could compete with the crowd at Zen's table, and what was so special about a Zen anyway, and a few other not so nice comments.
....from a guy selling juice and drip tips. I honestly can't recall if he had any devices or not.
(just looked them up, mostly egos and such)
Pretty stupid thing to do in my opinion, especially since it's a vendor I have purchased tips from online.

I mean, even with a Zen of any type, a gal still needs juice and drip tips right?
Well, I just looked him in the eye, took a hit off my Zen and walked away.
He got exactly 0 of my drip tip cash.

And honestly, I would have done the same regardless of the vendor he was bashing.
You just don't do that in front of potential customers, you don't know who is standing in front of you and can clearly hear what you're saying. What IS wrong with people?
And, regardless of if I like his tips or not, he won't get my future business either.

agreed! my wife is pretty much a new vaper. and she was browsing around the tables when a vendor started talking to her complaining about how he couldnt sell anything..and how long he's been in the business..and he felt like he couldnt sell anything because of all the ppl at zens table...and kept going on and on. to someone new (or a vet) thats kinda going against what the whole vaping community is about and red flaggin ppl. but on the same note..she met tons of really cool ppl and everyone around our table that kept it the way it should be..and she had a blast! so again..thanks to everyone for helping her have a great time and she is now more into vaping then ever! shes taking egos to work and lending them and juices out to ppl who have been asking questions and letting them go home and try this without the pressure or lack of knowledge from a person at a mall kiask. in the last week..she now has one person wanting to order a kit and some juice for themselves! and another trying one at home!

The main reason I popped in today, well other then to say hey to all the Zenfidels, I was driving through northern Georgia Wednesday about 30 miles north of Atlanta and I ran across a small vape shop and decided to stop in to check it out. There are not very many shops in my neck of the woods so when I see one I always stop. When I walked in I noticed a SS Zen Standard in the case and I asked the owner about it. He told me that he bought it used off a customer about 3 months go and was selling it for $185. I asked if I could see it to check it out and the first thing I noticed was that this SS Zen had no SN on it. The owner asked me what was puzzling me and I told him that I was one of the original owners of these products but I have never seen or heard of the SS versions not having a SN on it. I didn't tell him about the history or how hot these items are as I didn't want him to jack the price up.

So my question is for Zen or any other Zenfidel, has Zen ever made the SS Zenesis Standard without a SN?

So there's a dilemma...

The Sidewinder update kits are ready to ship and I was going to put them on the site tonight.

Then I got a text message from a vaper that I trust a whole lot that informed me that in the chats some jerks were conspiring to get together and claim the parts... even though they don't actually have the PVs... there was mention of selling them in the classifieds before I could get them to the right people.

Is this what we have become? A community of vapers that has become so hated by others that outsiders intentionally steal parts that are being made available to help people get their devices running correctly? This is outrageous.

Unfortunately, I cannot afford to have that happen. I know the real names of most people in this thread so I can be certain that SOME of the parts will get where they belong, but I sold quite a few to complete strangers and I want them to have a good experience as well.

I need suggestions from you folks that frequent this thread on how to best administer these parts so we can get them to the people that need them, without shipping expensive machined parts to idiots that are just out to hurt me.

Any ideas? I'm at a loss.

Zen~

I'm behind in the thread so this may have already been suggested; forgive me if so. Are there serial #s on the SW? You can require that serial # be noted in a comments box on the order form or invoice # to confirm the buyer actually has the SW.....

EDIT: I guess serial #s wouldn't work, on further reflection, but invoice #s would.

Juanita, I don't remember seeing a serial number on mine. Regardless, we didn't track to those we sold to. But, Mike did decide that if he didn't recognize the person ordering, he would ask for them to either take a pic with the device or send in the label from the packaging to prove ownership. I think he's all set now.

The question is Mr P. Did you buy it? And if so, show us a pic!

Morning All!!

Update on my ZAP: I was so tired after work and gym, I didn't get to it until this morning. Bought the ZAP into work with me. As per the suggestion of Vapor2112, Zen~ and Andyman's inquiry; I unwrapped from 6 to 4 coils. What can I say?! OMG! What a difference!! Mind you, my coil is not as pretty as it could be, but when I pick up the PP I can actually "just vape it". The vapor has increased 10-fold and flavor as well. I keep sneaking off to the conference room to have a vape :D

Thanks for all the help and suggestions! I just told my co-worker, who doesn't smoke or vape, but who is as caught up in vaping as I am due to me constantly talking about Zen~ and juices (she does "sniff tests"), that I can only imagine how wonderful my BAM will be!!

Hey Andyman; yeah, I see all is worked out now and kinda figured that my post would be multiple posts too late, but wanted to give Mike some input/support.

I have heard that none of the new Zenesis devices will have SN (not sure if that is true or not) but with it being over 3 months old, I would have guessed it would have had one. Outside of the SN, did it look and feel spot on like the Zenesis we know and love?

Hi Mr. P!

NO...they all had serial numbers, as far as I know. Did it feel like a SS Zenesis?

Yes all, it was an authentic SS Zenesis Standard. I was thinking maybe the center post could have been repaired or replaced as I have not heard of any without a SN.

BTW,,, Hiya Sparky!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How are you? So good to see you! I missed you! No one plays music around here anymore. ;)

Wow... ummm... the serial number is probably behind the wick... unless it was made in the last few weeks. The first 250 minis and standards have serials... they no longer do.

and THAT is sorely missed!
