I like Provari/Zap. I am getting acquainted with the Kick in a Titanide + ZAU. It's working great, but it handles coil shorts differently. Where a Provari will Error on a coil short when your voltage setting exceeds the presented load by a safe margin. The Kick will adjust wattage to match the load. So you can actually vape 8 watts on only a single coil if your bottom coils are shorted on the mesh. It regulates the wattage based on the load and just keeps working, but I can't say that this is optimal or nearly as enjoyable as having all your coils working. Your sort of flying blind as there is no feedback or major malfunction, but work, yes it does.
I think the Provari + Zap combo have a synergy that is the STATE OF THE ART of ABSOLUTE vaping.
They are like REESE'S PIECES.
(I just knocked my ZAP-VARI down, & Now, I got a E1....YEH....FEEDBACK! #@!%Adjusting coils now....Talk amongst yourselves.... I'll give you a topic: Pros & Cons of the perceived sublime musicality of a artificially reproduced female jazz vocalist amplified using a high current single-ended tube amplifier outputted via high impedance speakers of low inductive reactance vs. the lack of musicality that the dissonance of odd & higher order distortions produced via any push-pull topology amplifier...tube/ss & hell include CLASS A solid-state amps, but not digital switching amps...that's cheating. )
pashaw!
Just go with bird song and the laughter of children.
And Ripple's laugh that comes clear up from his toes.
