I'm getting used to the "airy" vape which when done correctly produces a s*** load of vapour.

Having read so many posts about broken tanks I'm being uber careful about where exactly I put "Sparky" (temporary name for SN #0089). *

The "locking Ring" that many had problems with does bother me in the least. Have to get used to the wobble when its standing on the button.

The one thing I need help with is that when I push the bottom button it doesn't always fire. Is there any adjustment I can make to switch assembly so that it fires without fail?

* Eight of Nine ???? No nothing can be better than Seven of Nine, Tertiary Adjunct of Unimatrix Zero-One ***sigh***

HOH sells the new spring for the switch, and has helped with the wobble, and the firing issue you are having.

Chief Thunder suggested it earlier, but take a skinny 400 mesh wick and a skinny 325 mesh wick. Unroll the 325 and wrap it over the 400. Works really good with a 4 wrap coil. Plumes I tell ya!!
oh im gonna have to try that.. sounds interesting
I just got my first ZAP. Love it. But there is a learning curve isn't there?

This morning I got to work and once I had vaped my juice down I pulled out my needle bottle of juice to fill 'er up. But as I very gently and slowly pushnig juice out of the bottle into the tank, the juice is just as fast bubbling out of the mesh wick on the other side. VERY frustrating. I do not have my syringe at work it is at home. But I haven't used the syringe yet at all anyway. Filled up last night for the first time using the needle bottle and don't remember this being a problem.

What advice can you all offer me?
If your wick isnt pinched you can stick the needle down the middle of it and fill it that way. Not as easy but no spillage ;)

I'm Baaaack! Just catching up on a good 200 pages. Think I finally beat the evil death bug of VC2. Anyway, saw this as I was browsing what I missed.
I Sir, was the one who nabbed BAM -007 :p

Hopefully # 007 doesn't have to go back home as well?

Anyone going to vapefest in NY in march? Is it going to be as big as Vape Bash? Trying to decide...

I recently got involved with the planning committee. Hopefully it might be even bigger - being in NYC (or just outside of the city proper I guess, but reported to be a 25 minute train ride from Manhattan).

Anyway, the plan is to make it an educational event as well - with 3 or 4 smaller meeting rooms available for seminars/workshops (like on DIY liquids, coil making, mod making, basic technical instruction, etc), and to attempt to attract a lot of NYC area smokers and newbies to come and learn as well.

I got the upgrade kit today, hitting good now. So I thought I wold try the kick i bought at VC from nHaler. I removed the anodizing from the tube below the threads, installed the kick about 1/4 inch in the tube, screwed on the attomizer then installed the kick screw. I put in the battery and nothing. I've been playing with it for an hour now and nothing I try is working.

Anyone know how to verify if a kick works or have a clue on what I'm doing wrong?

Have you increased tension on the set screw?
