Hey Tammy, been wondering about you dear.

Hi Kev! :) We're getting back to being right as rain! Missed ya!

Hey Tammy, long time no see! I understand why tho, but we sure missed ya!

Grammie!!!!! Missed you too, and did I just read that you not only have a ZAP now, but 2 of 'em! :) Way to go! I LOVE my Zattys, I've got the ZAP, ZAU and the ZAG and my favorite of late has been the ZAG. I really love this thing!

Ooooooh! Yes it does, Kev, do you love it? I thought I would like the bigger tank but found that I prefer the mini sized tank best.

Two things on my list now, the Sidewinder and an ASH. I'm liking 3.7 volts vaping on my Zenesis, VV vaping isn't is good to me. My Mamu mods aren't getting any love these days, they sit lonely beside my ProVari. :(

Miss me?!?! Sure missed y'all! :)

Been rough around here. As some of y'all know, my daughter was expecting her second child (MY granddaughter) and was having complications. Almost 8 weeks of bedrest, hospitalized 5 times, she finally gave birth (3 weeks early) to my perfect and beautiful g'daughter. Both are doing well and my daughter is finally getting back to her healthy self.

Between that, and me and her hubby playing tag with their other child (my sweet grandson) and then getting thrown down with health issues of my own, it's been a ride! LOL

Now, how is everyone doing and what did I miss besides the Sidewinder. :( Still crying over that. ROFL!

I missed ya! Congrats on the new Granddaughter, Tammy! That is wonderful news. I'm so relieved everything ended well for all of you.

The SW will be available, maybe, on Monday: https://electronicstix.com/MODS+AND+MOD+ACCESSORIES/THE+ZENESIS+MOD+LINEUP.html

Stay safe during that storm! I hope it misses you.

OMFG..... so, what's the vapor and flavor like at 12-14 wraps?

lol, its actually pretty good. honestly i did tear it down and rewrap it, i think the kanthal gauge i have might be a bit low, but yeah it worked pretty good she used it until this morning.

I imagine all those wraps make for a very cool vape. I'm sure it takes a while for the coil to heat up enough to create vapor.

for some reason it was only 2 ohms (sorry) so it lit up almost instantly.

The Zen is a purely mechanical mod correct?
If so you are actually getting variable voltage. A freshly charged AW IMR has a voltage of about 4.1-4.2v and drops with use.
Unless the zen uses a voltage/ wattage regulator, at which then it would have a constant voltage/wattage.

The Zenesis Sidewinder supports a Kick, so SW is VV capable.

Thanks girl! :) The storm is just skirting us, so all should be well. Already lost power once but FPL was on it fast and we were back up within an hour.
Appreciate the info on the Sidewinder, going to try to stalk 'em and get one! :)

Yes, the Zenesis's APV's are mechanical mods and yes, you get the fresh charged battery hit and then it tapers off. The VV holds the voltage at whatever it is set on and you get that same hit time after time until it's time to change the battery. That's what I don't think I like, the constant. The first fresh hit and then mellowing out from there is what I'm finding that I prefer.

Ahh okay. That makes sense. My preference it a set it and forget standpoint. Only time my flavor changes is when I need to recoil and give my wick a good heating and rinsing to clean it up a bit.

I've only been vaping about 2 1/2 months now. The first 2 weeks using a carto/tank setup and the last 2 months with genesis mods. One mechanical with a kick, the other a ZAP on my provari mini.

When I first started vaping, there wasn't a whole lot of choice and I cringe when thinking back to the days where we were modifying cartridges with the blue foam to hold more juice on top of our atomizers. LOL Then there was the tea bag method. ROFL!!!

And back then, (almost 3 years ago) I need something that hit hard all the time to keep me off the cigarettes. I mean something that burned my throat and bout had me down in the ditch coughing. LOL Now, my nicotine level is only 6mgs and it's in a vanilla flavored juice. Having that in my Zenesis at regular 3.7volts is pure heaven, it's a most relaxing, destressing, enjoyable vape. You know, it's pure Zen. :)

Tammy, I really like it. Maybe even more than my Mini. For some reason, it just feels better in the hand to me.

That is fantastic, Kev! :) And to me, that seemed to hit harder than my mini. Can't understand that either because I had the same amount of wraps on it and it takes the same battery. LOL

Does anyone know how long it takes whoever is working at the Zen site to ship? Ordered 2 tanks 2 days ago and have heard nothing. Are they still in business?

I ordered a week ago, they are still in business but they are moving to a new home. He's working on getting orders out for the long awaited BAM and upgrade kits for the Sidewinder. Just hang in there and you'll get what you ordered. Plus, they were at VaperCon2. So, I'm sure he's hard at work getting orders out, just be patient, I am!
