yeah, i used the wrong gauge kanthal. i tore it down and put the right one on and 6
coils gives me that, my eyes must be going bad because i didnt even notice that it was thicker.

Cool I may have to look into one. I use a kick in my other mechanical mod. The 10 watt limit is a little bogus. But that can be worked around using low ohm coils.
I love the finish on my ZAP if the sidewinder is anything like it I would be very impressed.
the SW is amazing, but dont go by the pics, they just dont do it justice, untill you hold one in your hand you cant really apreciate its awesomeness. I have never seen anything like it, zen or otherwise. Its speshul
The first fresh hit and then mellowing out from there is what I'm finding that I prefer.
i actually love that, its like a constantly changing vape every time you put in a fresh batt. only on gennies though, otherwise i tend to prefer regulated.
LOL Now, my nicotine level is only 6mgs and it's in a vanilla flavored juice. Having that in my Zenesis at regular 3.7volts is pure heaven, it's a most relaxing, destressing, enjoyable vape. You know, it's pure Zen.
Which vanilla juice? I have been looking for a vanilla all day vape because I love vanilla, so far no luck
Does anyone know how long it takes whoever is working at the Zen site to ship? Ordered 2 tanks 2 days ago and have heard nothing. Are they still in business?

yep, i did just that, i put a 6 wrap on it w/ the right gauge kanthall, we still take turns using it untill i find another ZAP for us (it sucks i have to spend half the day w/out my zap vaping her penelope
). actually, whats REALLY weird is there werent any shorts, because i was confused by this.... monstrosity, she actually just barely spaced them out you just cant tell from the pic...
i called her at work wghen i saw it and was like what is this? she goes, dont touch it ive got it vaping perfect! im like ......why? she sys thats the only way i could get it above 2@
the funny thing is it did vape pretty good but it kept popping bubbles, and i was afraid some of the coils might move up or down and short, so i fixed it.... ketchup?
I figured. She may go OCD on your coils and get the spacing/ grouping perfect.
yeah, somehow, she did it... weird. i did complement her on her really neat wraps though, im gonna give her the 32(i think?) ga kanthal when she gets home and see what she can do w/ it. I think what she used was 26, cheif gave me 2 different kinds but i just completely forgot about it. great, im colorblind and now im starting to go for reals blind
I do a 3/2 wrap with 32g kanthal and end up with 1.6ohms.
its not 32, i beleive its 26 but i could be wrong, it was given to me by cheif when i got it from him, he mentioned it at some point but im sure i was just too excited to vape it to pay attention
all i know is when i tore hers down and redid it, before i figured out that it was the wrong gauge kanthal, i was getting 1.3 on a 6 wrap.

it just goes to show you theres a lot of human error that can go wrong with zens but thats all it is, human error, and when you do it right they work like a dream. I put some unmarked juice from my gf's stash in there just now because i thought i was stealing some of her nlv bountly hunter that she was saving and it turns out to be some 24mg ry4 or something like that, and in a zen 24 is just waaaay too much, made me light headed. I was actually able to cut my nic in half after using the zap. the only prob is that my gf's penelope and my zap get passed back and forth like red headed step children and the penny doesnt make the lower nic stuff kick like the ZAP does. When I find her one i will be able to go ahead and cut our nic down to like 12 or so.

I thought the fat ones were working better, whats wrong w/ it? ive been wanting to try one but then again, i used my insulator untill i lost it down the drain while cleaning, and made one out of a carto to use till i replace it because thats how mike designed it. but then again he said you could do that in some of the anodised alumizens.

yup. i came around here before i even got one because at first i wanted to learn about them, and i stuck around because of how helpful and kind and generous and just awesome everyone here is. its the reason i even have one, cheif knew that i wanted one and was cool enough to bring one down for me at VC, i just wish he had brought another one for me to buy haha j/k
Without reading tons of pages, I'm a few hundred behind, can't seem to catch up, Can anyone tell me how they're keeping the cap on their ZAP on a little better than the standard o-ring? I work outside a lot, like to use my Vari/Zap combo. I go to get a hit and no cap. Have found it on cement, pavement and the yard. Needless to say, it already has battle scars, but it's the best yet for that "perfect" vape. Any ideas, Zenfidels? Hate to have to take one of my other set-ups with me all the time. Thanks.
this is why im getting the SW, and probably will get the WMZ too, the ZAP/vari mini is great and even portable sized but it just is more of a relaxing at home type of vape. Thats not to say though that i still dont bring it everywhere w/ me
What I did was got the next size up (thickness) o ring from a tatoo/peircing shop and it holds it a bit more snugly, but you have to put juice on it in order to slike it on/off because its pretty tight.
also serenitygear has some holsters that are pretty good at keeping it upright. I havent gotten one yet but I plan on it.
Lick the oring all the way around, then wiggle the top cap back on. Once it dries, it's pretty tough to get it off.
