The worst of it going to be from Monday afternoon probably through most of Tuesday. They just upgraded rain totals to 5-10 inches and winds up to 60-70 mph. That's going to last that way for like 24 hours. I'll be safe. I'll live on love...and wine...and peanut butter cups and cold cereal....

My gf works at a dance studio, theyve made her come in during hurricanes, blizzards, power outages etc. like people really want to dance during all that
, i would think they have other things on their mind, and when the power goes out, they make her use her CELL to call customers to let them know.I work IT support for a large server farm in the dc area, and they have already told me to just come in early if possible and take the rest of the day off when im done, but if its too bad stay home. I probably will go because my subie is awd, but my gf drives a corolla.

Me too. It's a horrible feeling just waiting and not knowing exactly what to expect and how bad it will be. All you can do is be as prepared as you can be and hope for the best.
