This one is special to me... because I was there. I met Jerry at Monterey Pop (1967), hung out at the Dead House - jammed with them sometimes that summer, went to their concerts at the Fillmore, Avalon, etc... this one in 1969 with my new SF bride (married just over a month before it) and took her backstage between sets to meet the band.

i'm guessing there's a slightly better than 50/50 chance i was also at that concert too, spydro. fun times also used to hang at their house occasionally.


ETA: wish i could recall exact dates of all the Fillmore/Avalon/Winterland concerts i went to back then, but, wth, that's the least i forgot from the 60's
