Love all Johnny Cash, CATastrophe. Again, since I just played this over in the game, and it's sorta a kick, thought I'd play it here, as well. My grandpa really knows the era, and he said that the laugher was a really huge Vaudeville star -

Becky, was a Johnny Cash fan at a pretty young age, about 7 or 8. My folks took me from WI to see a taping of his show waaaay back.
We're going to the Ryman in May to see Garrison Keillor in A Prairie Home Companion. He has interesting music acts on his shows, too. His Special Guests will be Stuart Duncan and The Time Jumpers. I've not looked into them yet. But I'm sure it will be good!

Oh, how exciting! I've listened to A Prairie Home Companion forever, and I enjoyed the movie, as well. Keillor often has some real musical gems come on that show. I'm sure you will have a such a great time, CATastrophe. If they let you, snap a picture for us!

I'm very excited! Radio shows are so cool. Been listening to Garrison for many years. News from Lake Woebegone is my fav. Used to listen to cassettes of his stories as I drifted off to sleep every night. I still have the well-loved tapes. I'll try and sneak a picture in.
