I'm not a rap fan but I did attend a packed Ice-T w/Rhyme Syndicate show at The Channel in Boston.
I'm not a big guy but I kept my place in the 3rd row when I got back from a nature call.
Fans is fans I guess.
He was a powerhouse on stage and his 45 minutes was worth suffering through 3 hours of other rappers.
Now I know he's cool cause he hung out with Lemmy

Hahaha I had this CD back in the early 90's and couldn't remember the name of the band.
I just recognized it while reading about The Channel.
They were raw but they had their moments.

Not many Americans outside of Upstate NY have.

I was playing billiards in a bar in Toronto in the late 90s and heard a track from their live album.
I asked the desk dude who it was and he asked me if I really didn't know.
I found the closest used cd store and asked which disc would be best for a classic hard rock fan.
I bought Road Apples by suggestion and cranked it in my S10 all weekend.
I was stuck at a light in downtown T.O. and looked to my right.
One of a bunch of loiterers was playing wild air guitar to "Twist My Arm" and grinning like a madman
He knew his HIP. It looked like he was playing exactly note for note. very entertaining fellow.

The first few albums were basically blues based classic rock with a Canadian twist.
They became progressively more alternative but can still rock out.
Big as Rush in the great white north.
