Sometimes the words of a song don't reflect my life. But something about a song grabs me. Love this for his voice, the beat, good music!

I have listened to hard rock / metal since I could choose my own music. It has progressed as such that anything I used to like, I can't stand anymore, because I burned myself out on it.
These days, I listen to mostly (or similar sounding) these bands on a station called "seize the day radio" on pandora
I don't know the genre, but it rocks.

Not TOO many things make me feel as old as I really am, but this post does. I have never HEARD of one single band in this entire list. Have I been "out of it" for THAT long? Even if I don't particularly like the music of a period, I usually recognize at least a FEW of the bands.....my goodness.
JC, you're not old! Unless you like screaming vocals and crunchy guitars, it's unlikely you would know of these bands! Your kids probably do though!
Trust me, almost no one I know likes this stuff except my sons and I. My wife hates it. I'm the worlds oldest kid maybe? I'm 46!
