If you are old enough to have been brought up on Motown music do yourself a favor and watch the documentary, 'IN THE SHADOW OF MOTOWN', being aired on the TMC channel. (Premium movie channels like HBO.)

It is the story of the Funk Brothers, an unheralded group of musicians that were the studio sound for basically every top name Motown artist. They created the music for more number 1 songs than Elvis, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and others... combined.

The documentary is absolutely amazing and will bring back fond memories... and a tear to your eye.
