How about truly disposable?

Could they make a one piece unit that has a disposable one time use battery built in, and a cartomizer with just enough juice to last for the life of the battery, all in a single piece.
A lot of the expense is the rechargeable battery, but if its just a one time use alkaline battery or something then it could be made dirt cheap, and people could actually have a pack of throw away e-cigs.

Um, maybe that with a discount coupon for the next pack if you bring them in for recycling? Trying to keep you from getting jumped by anyone who might see that idea as a landfill full of e-cigs.

Yes, they would have to recyclable (except for the battery).

I have tried a one use ecig and it was probably one of the worst inhalation experiences in my life. I dont think they have any way to really keep them "fresh". HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Glad that I didnt let that experience influence my decision to actually go ahead and order my first "real" kit.
