I've tried 2 different disposables (the Q from Madvapes and the Hello from EsmokerOnline)

I found both to be very good for what they are. They compare quite favorably to the "stock" 510, 901 and 402 starter kits I've used. (They don't compare to mods but then they're really not supposed to!)

The only real issue I'd have with recommending them (and I have the same issue recommending most starter kits too) is the prefilled carts. Prefilled tend to (IME) be inconsistent. Also there's less choices of flavor and strength. If the user was made aware of how to get/use juice to refill than I'd not hesistate to recommend them as an entry into e-cigs.

If you go with one, I'd definately recommend getting a bottle of juice in a flavor that interests you. Also, keep in mind that while I found them reliable, if you're goal is to totally quit analogs you may want to get more than one for back-up purposes. There's nothing more frustrating than starting to vape only to have something stop working and you don't have a handy replacement.

The Q is a 510 and as such is compatible with 510 starter kits. If you're interested in the 510 it'd be a good way to start and even when you get a kit (or just parts) they can be used to suppliment the disposable (though battery chargers MAY not be interchangable).

Overall, for ~$10 you can't go wrong and it's a good way to inexpensively get your vape on!

The Madvapes disposables are pretty good. It's a standard 510 type of unit and the atomizer is approximately the same as any other 510 type of unit. If you decide to buy a 510 starter kit at some point, these will work on that kit. It's a great way to decide if it's for you. I still haven't heard of anyone saying that one of the diposable batteries have failed, it seems like you can recharge them a great number of times using the charger built for that disposable, but not a standard 510 charger. Hope that helps.

Lol thank you. I haven't laughed that hard all day. Yes it is rechargable no it is not reusable

What isn't reusable about it (compared to say a 510 starter kit)?

Have you actually tried/used it? I have! I just took the disposable atty and put it on my 510 mod and it works. I then tried the 510 disp. battery on a stock 510 atty and worked fine too! The only thing that I wish the disp. had was a manual battery (though when I first started I thought I'd prefer auto, once I tried manual I changed my mind!).

The disposable may not be built to last, but IME (and Hoogie from Madvapes, and others) they do last.

I dont think there's anything wrong with the disposables 510s - they dont last forever and you CAN recharge them - yes madvapes - a reputable supplier from our suppliers list actually - sells them for $10 a pop. I think life expectancy is around a month, but some people get more life out of them.
Can't really go wrong for $10 can you? And the OP wants to TRY them (PVs) out first - seems reasonable to me.

Hello, please don't buy anything that these guys sell at malls....They are worthless and harm the good name of PVs....lol...Bought my wife a Joye 510 from Cignots, yes,,,$35.00 and she loves it....I see a lot of people saying the 510 is the way to go for first time vapers...For me,,,,I said forget that...I wanted more....and in that aspect, I bought a Ego,,,cost $78.00...but the major difference is the battery...everything else is the same...I use the 510 attys with my Ego and also the same carts....
Buying and spending your hard earned money for a PV is a challenge...But, consider what you pay for your analogs...especially over a period of a few months...For me it was a no-brainier....PV every time...Again, Welcome and Enjoy...
