How can I get longer battery life?

I like using tanks. What brand/type of carto do you suggest using.
Stay at 2 ohms or preferably 3 ohms. I vape 3 ohm Boge cartos at 4.2v and 2 ohm Boges at 3.8v. Look up your voltage and resistance combination in the chart at the link below and see how much power you are using with your carto and voltage. Smoketech DC cartos I've seen are two 3.0 to 3.2 ohm coils in parallel for 1.5 to 1.6 ohms. Anything over 8 watts is going to suck battery power even faster.
I get all day heavy vaping from one AW 18650 2000mah IMR. AW's also come in 1600mah sizes. You might also use a voltmeter to check the resistance of your cartos just for accuracy.

I use Boge 3 ohm cartos. I use them in J-tanks, a Liquinator, and a BDV Lil Mama tank. I usually am at 4.6-5 volts. An 18650 2000 mah battery will last me all day going through 4-7 mil of juice.
I have recently switched to the Boge 3.0 XL carto in my dual coil tanks and seem to get a couple more hours or about 2ml more vaping time than I did with the dual coils. The XL length is a little hard to find right now put they should be in stock most places soon. Some vendors call them XL and some XXL. I like the flexibility that the single coil at 3 ohms offers me and the extra battery life vaping at 4.4 to 5 volts is a little bonus. I keep 2 18650 batteries in rotation and swap them out every morning unless I vaped a little extra and have to change out that night.
So should I finish up the 2 boxes of Smoktech DC 2.0 ohm of cartos at 4.0v or 3.7v? Do the Boge come pre-drilled with a hole for the juice in the tank?
You can buy 'em plain or pre-punched for a little higher price. I got a saddle valve to punch mine for use in my mini sub tanks. Oh, my Provari ROCKS.
I'm using 2250mAh CGR18650CH's (w/ button top) at about 9.6W and my ProVari lasts all day. I go through ~5mL daily and if I don't swap batteries it'll start blinking sometime in the morning of the next day. I'm currently using a Cisco 901 that the PV reads as 1.5 ohms running at 3.8V.
As suggested above stop using DC cartos .Boge cartos will fit in a lot of tanks and get more battery life and a better vape imo

4 hours? That is a short run time... I use Joye SR attys 2.1-2.2 ohms set at 4.7 volts.. I put a fresh 18650 battery in every morning and it last me all day and into the next morning.. I vape moderate to heavy...
I also get all day and frequently into the next morning on an AW 18650 2000mah IMR battery and vape about 4ml of juice. You do have the extended cap and are using an 18650 IMR with your Provari?
Wow I thought I had bad battery life but I guess not. 18500 batterys at 4.9 volts with a boge 3ohm carto.. about 4-5ml of juice and it last me all day and about 2-3 hours into the next..

What is recommended for a KGO 1100mah, supposedly puts out over 3.7v, its 3.8-4.0, I think) Been using dual coils and in 2 weeks two batteries are already needed charging 3-4 times a day. Heavy vaping. I'm thinking of getting a pass-through - any recommendations?
Many passthroughs (especially those with no inline battery) cannot provide the amps you'll need to run dual coils... They suck down tons of power very quickly (as your battery life will attest to!) The biggest USB power adapters I've seen available only supply 2.1 amps, at 5 volts (what most passthroughs run at) you are pulling 2.5 amps with a 2.0 ohm dual coil carto. You can slide by with a 2.5 dual coil, but it is a weak vape (on passthroughs, due to insufficient amps) in my experience.
If you enjoy the dual coils, and are looking to change batteries less often, I suggest an APV with an 18650 battery in it (the ones I use are 2000mah, and I use 1-2 batteries a day).

I don't know yet if I like/need dual coils. I'm still too new to this. But its been recommended to me that my next step would be the Twist, but I can't afford a $25-30 battery every week along with all the other stuff.
So a 900 or 1000 pass through with a battery (why would one not want the battery?) wouldn't power a dual coil because it would be using a usb power cord. Do they make any that just plug into a wall outlet (I'd prefer that anyways)? What about lower resistance dual coils? I was using the ego Mega Clear DCT (1.6 ohms).
So everything points to a Provari. The drawback for me on the Provari it the 15 clicks to do something. No way I'll remember what I'm doing with all the clicking. I liked the Darwin, except for seems like they break down often and they aren't available. I'm more concerned about performance and ease of use than looks. As long as they don't look like a personal vibrator like some do.
