Hi guys,

I've been browsing the forums and lurking here for quite a while. I'm a big fan of GrimGreen and PBusardo on Youtube and enjoy watching their reviews and learning the all the different methods to vaping.

I've been using a Bloog Maxxfusion e-cigarette and I'm really wanting a at-home unit. So I'll be purchasing my first MOD with variable voltage, as I understand this is necessary to increase versatility in vaping all different kinds of juice.

I'm still confused about what setup produces the most FLAVOR. I know this is a subjective opinion, but I'm not asking "what tastes good" but rather what produces the most flavor for one to taste. Does this make sense?

So I'm wanting to know what I should do once my MOD arrives. What's the secret to maximizing flavor? Voltage? Carto vs Atomizer and a tank? Direct dripping? HELP!

PG tends to carry flavor best so a high PG juice will usually tend to carry the flavor better. But you'll also usually get less vapor from all PG.

Many people also feel direct dripping produces the best flavor. I don't notice a difference between dripping and a good cartomizer or clearomizer though so YMMV.

Flavor potency differs as well. Some flavors are less subtle than others and you often can't just add more flavor to the juice to get better results. And some will give more flavor at higher voltages, but some will give less flavor or taste burnt or perfumy. There's really no hardware that will produce the best flavor as it's pretty subjective all around and varies depending on the juice.

Don't get hung up on "the best". Good enough is good enough. :)

VV Reo would be a good choice, HH-357 1.5ohm Atty would be another fine choice,,,, Darwin would also be a super choice with the same Atty but with an Empire Drip shield and an extra 510-510 sealed adapter,,,, with a Donut TrippyTip a top either mod. Both killer set ups no matter what anyone else says these Rock the vapor Freight train down the tracks and get ya across to the other side.:)

I was going to give you the conventional rap and then give you the big bang, but MWA laid that out.... :)

When HH357s first came out I doubted you could get your moneys worth in a disposable atty that costs over $20. I read about them spitting and troubles, and thought; "good thing i didn't buy one".
Then MWA told me the scoop on them... and he knows what's up big time.

Your question hits the nail on the head ... what is the BEST flavor. That's what HH357 offers; flavor .... like you'll never get from all the conventional atomizers from A to Z. You will know what your juice REALLY tastes like, so make sure you have a good juice.

I think these are the biggest thing to come down the pike in years... and you don't need an expensive VV or device. An LR 1.5 357 on an eGo or 3.7 device (most are in the 3.3v range) will give you as good a vape as any VV set at 3.3 to 4.0. Save your 200 bucks and buy 4 or 5 of these and keep the change. hhehehh. serious.

For juice reviewers out there; if you aren't using a 357 you don't know what your juice really tastes like.
Actually there are some really good conventional attys out now, and is the 357 worth 3 times as much per atty? IF your measure by dollar for dollar, no, but considering there's no other way to get this value (best flavor).
IF you just want nicotine in your lungs, then go conventional by all means.

on second thought, get a few conventionals and go through the learning curve for dripping before getting the 357's if you haven't already.

Somewhere out there
If you are looking at VV mods/APV's I say look at Provari and Darwin and most likely others will recommend some. These are pretty much top of the line units and will give you variety. Word of caution, only use the batteries recommended by Provari for that model you look at/buy. Darwin has a battery built in, so even more convenient. But know your batteries http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/129569-rechargeable-batteries.html before you buy any mod/APV. Have fun shopping! bnrk- Provari mini owner
