I found out through a classmate during a discussion about the new smoking ban on campus. He has a Blu and recommended them so I ordered their kit. Since it was going to take them a while to send it out I went to my local smoke shop and got their cheapie E-lites pack for around $25. That got me off analogs, but then when I was trying to figure out how to refill my Blu carts I found ECF. Since the batt life on the Blu wasn't cutting it for me I went out and ordered a 510 after reaserching it a bit on here, and have been a happy vaper every since. I'm even starting to convert a lot of my friends who smoke to come over to the vaping side, lol

Smoking area discussion about electronics in general. Co-worker mentioned they were selling (expensive) battery operated cigarettes at a kiosk in the mall . . . I never go to the mall. Decided to research on-line and landed here. Lots of good info. Spent a lot of time reading posts on what's in them and how they work before deciding to give it a try. Six months analog free!

My friend stopped over with a 510 she just got. We both smoked for almost 30 years and had tried everything to quit. She'd had it for a week and hadn't smoked 1 cigarette since she started to vape. That was enough for me. I researched online, came to ECF, did some reading and ordered. Was 4 weeks last night since I've had a cigarette. I can't see any reason to go back to smoking ever again. :)

We were on vacation and a friend had an electronic cigar, which intrigued me - I'd never seen such a thing. I did some research when we got home and stumbled onto the ECF, and my jaw dropped. So after doing a bunch of reading, I ordered a kit from V4L, and 4 days after I got it, to my complete amazement, I was done smoking.

I found out after being bombarded with ads for them on facebook & a few other sites. I ended up going with a free trial from one of those lovely 'scam' companies, which resulted in me doing tons of research trying to find a e-cigarette that didnt cost me $100 after a 14 day trial ended.
I ended up going with a 510 from a great company, and have been smoke free since the beginning of November. I raved so much about their company on FB that they just sent me the eGo free so I would post my review of it on their page

My sister was in town for Father's Day and we took my father out to dinner.
After dinner my sister whipped out an NJoy NPro and hooked me up.

I knew immediately I could quit smoking with these doodads.

Got myself an NPro from the nearest Pilot station the next day, and failed.
Searched the internet hoping to find out what I was doing wrong and wound up here, and bought a 510 right away.

The 510 did the trick, but I later learned how to make my NPro work well too.
Turned out the manual batteries on the 510 helped me get where I wanted to go, because automatics take some learning.
:)

Bought a chepo disposable piece of crap at a local gas station. Then the cheapos starter kit off their website. Then a 510 in the mall-----Found ECF and the spending continued. Only now I am getting quality goods from reputable suppliers and making my own juice. Therefore the $250 or so spent on junk lead me down the right path.

I was looking threw the for sale items on craigs list about 2 and 1/2 years ago. Someone was selling a green nicotine set up. So i researched it a bit and decided it wasnt worth it at that time due to price and bad reviews. Then earlyer this year a friend of mine said he had quit smoking via a vaporizer so i researched it out again. Prices had dropped and my friend let me know about some juice suppliers. So i bought one and now have 5 months smoke free.

I hope more people think about "mistakes" as a step to getting to where you are now. A lot of people throw away money while learning something, but as long as it gets you to where you need to be. $250 "wasted" on cheapos is nothing compared to the benefits you would get from staying away from analogs.

I first saw them on TV. Took 5 minutes of searching to see that those guys were crooks, so I hunted around the net for more info and found the No. 7 e-cig. Fortunately, I didn't have any money at the time, I eventually got the bright idea to search for "electric cigarette" and "forum" and found this place. A lot of reading and a few weeks later and I had my 510 kit and sample juices in hand. The info here has saved me a lot of money.

I was walking thru the mall and was stopped by a guy - he asked if I smoked. I hadn't seen the e-cig kiosk I had just passed and assumed he was trying to bum a smoke. Being the nice guy that I am, I told him I did. He whips out an e-cig from behind his back. I tried it and was pleasantly suprised. Looked at his kits - he wanted somewhere's around $150. Went home to research, found ECF, spent two weeks finding out what I should get and ended up with an EGO. No I feel like the poster child for e-cigs. Last analog on Labor day, now trying different carts, cartomizers and liquids. Like the CE-2 syringe mod the best so far.

A friend of mine was using one a couple of years back to quit, I tried it but didn't like it much at the time (it was some cheapo model, not much vapor or flavor). Started researching it again online by accident, ran into some banner ad I believe, ended up at the ECF and bought a couple of KR808 kits. 15 e-juices, a custom multi-charger from a USB hub and a couple of weeks later it turned out to be quite the hobby, lol. Quit analogs cold turkey, it seemed easy with vaping.

Exactly how I got nabbed by the guy at the kiosk, tho he must have had some good juice in it because when I demo'd his, it was fantastic, thats why I bought it. Low and behold, I could never make it work like that, hence, I came here and now own the Ego.

Exactly Rumble! - I am thankful that gas station had that $10 elcheapo or I would not have found my way here! $250 is nothing when we are paying almost $11/pack here in good old NY. Damn at 1.5PAD habit I can spend a lot of money on this new hobby and still be ahead. Plus I get a nice collection of cool loot instead of empty packs and a mountain of butts. That doesn't even begin to compare when you add in how much better I feel! Happy vaping to you and send down some cold air and snow from our friends North of the border!
