Since getting the Chuck five days ago, I had four 510 atomizers going dead-ish after connecting them onto the big boy. I'm vapin' 6v (two 3.0v RCR123 batts).

Am I burning my atties? How do I know if so?

TIA :)

Cartos love high voltage! I use them exclusively on my Big Chucks! And, I like that I don't have to refill them that often!

If they are really burned out they won't be deadish, they will be DEAD. You get nothing. One way I test to see if they are burned out besides using a meter is listening to it. If it's totally silent when you push the button then it's totally dead. You need a multimeter. Mine recently started burning out attys because my charger went on the fritz and was overcharging my batteries. I was vaping at 11v without knowing it until I went through my third atty.

The Chuck with 6 volts, puts out more like 7 volts has less resistance from the material it is made of, you need a HV atty 5.2 ohms that Inhaler sells only out of stock. I use my Chuck with a 18650 battery 3.7 volts that vapes like a 5 volt with a 306 atty great throat and Better flavor then the 510 atty using the 306 at 3.7 volts only.

ePuffDaddy, you might want to check out this thread and see if it is ringing any bells for you. Houdini's charger is overcharging his batts, causing too much voltage to his attys.

If you don't solve the problem soon, you will have to change your nic to ePoofDaddy! :)

I first noticed that my Chuck was killing atty's when he couldn't verify his whearabouts that dark monday. Then when I went to change his batteries I found the candlestick.

I later found another dead atty in the library.

LMAO WS. How come almost every post I read of your causes my husband to look at me like I have lost my mind because I am laughing at my phone?
