Am I the only one who used to think fondly back to the days when smoking was "healthy" and people did it guilt free, and they recommended to TB patients to smoke *more*? Well, I used to think that way, but vape life is so much better. :) With that said, I find it amusing that the reverse is the case with vaping, and there really ARE doctors who think you'd be better off puffing on some camels....

The first husband was doing a lot of smoking during my own child's delivery. Only he kept having to leave to do it. I was ......, but I also expected it, LOL, I invited my mom and sister for backup....

I can hang my head in shame, I didn't smoke pregnant or nursing, but I sure did everywhere but the house, including the car. I don't think my kiddo liked smelling of smoke, but he was too kind to tell me. He did tell me to quit, repeatedly. Sigh. Well, what's done is done.

Have you tried lowering the VG in your liquids?

You can also not inhale into your lungs simply by holding the vapor in your mouth and release through your nose.

Vaping is not and will never be as bad as vaping Smoking. Your doctor is very misinformed or outright lying to you to get you to quit something he/she is against.

Cigarettes do have cancer causing traits. Vaping does not. There is no way that vaping can be as deadly as smoking.

If you truly want to quit, it can be done. Chain vaping is a sign of needing to keep the hands busy. Not so much as needing the nic. Several VERY good suggestions have been presented. If I find that I am mindlessly vaping while playing a game on the computer or reading, I will put my vape in another room and put a bottle of water next to me. I find that I will mindlessly hold the bottle and drink from it in the same way that I would hold the vape and use it.

Good luck and keep us posted on your journey. I'm sure there are others that are looking to eventually quit vaping also.

Please though, do not throw out your vape gear. Set it up for long storage before putting it away. It is always better to go back to vaping rather than smoking.

I was an ..., but.... (Preface: My friend was joking when he said this). He was a doctor. He said all the nicotine in my system made my kids brains grow faster. One of my kids turned out really smart and works at G**gle so I guess I didn't completely mess him up. My other child bugged me so much to quit smoking that I finally did. Ten years quit. Ten cigarettes later I was hooked again.
