Maybe one of the staff at innovapor could make a sticky on how to charge and use the models they sell.

My m4's didn't come with instructions ,i didn't see any instructions on innovapors site and no sticky.

I put one battery in the usb charger and it was red then went green and has stayed that way other than a short red(2-5 sec) every 5-10 minutes. Does this mean it's charged? It's been on the charger for 2 hours.

Do i put a filled cart on and puff away or do i let it sit and soak after installing the cart?

When assembling the m4 do i put the cart on the atty then hold the cart and screw it on the battery or should i screw the atty onto the battery and then push the cart on without twisting?

Does the battery need to be charged longer the first few times it's used?
How do i know when the battery needs charged?
How do i know when the cart is dry?
Any special care needed for the atty?
Any special care when using a new atty?

Sure i could read the forums for the answer but I purchased your products and your products seem different form other sellers, for instance manual m4 batteries.

I don't work for them but can answer some Qs. I've been vaping on an Evo for a month or so now.

I put one battery in the usb charger and it was red then went green and has stayed that way other than a short red(2-5 sec) every 5-10 minutes. Does this mean it's charged? It's been on the charger for 2 hours.

I think the flicker means it is about fully charged, charged enough for use but will probably take some more if left alone. The flashes seem less frequent as charging time lengthens, my overnight charges tend not to blink. I have not noticed any major difference between a flickering charge and an overnight charge as far as performance goes.

Not sure, I do both with no problems.

I have a few batteries and haven't noticed a need to do this or any repercussion for not doing so.

How do i know when the battery needs charged?
It will stop producing vapor or produce weak vapor, and will eventually blink repeatedly at the tip when fully dead. Incidentally, lithium ion batteries prefer to be charged frequently rather than drained then charged to max capacity, so charge whenever you get a chance, even if it's just for ten minutes, and you can prolong overall battery life, whether it be an Ecig or a cell phone, any lithium ion. Having multiple batteries helps to avoid waiting for a charge.

How do i know when the cart is dry?
No more vapor or weak vapor.

Any special care needed for the atty?
Some people clean them with ammonia, there are threads here about it, I just blow in the atty, wipe it off and use the draining method shown in one of the Evo maintenance videos on intellicig.com

Any special care when using a new atty?
Take care when/if direct dripping, so as to avoid flooding the atty or the battery.

I have M4 and Evo parts, auto and manual, they are all essentially the same on the outside except for color and a few negligible differences in measurements. Hope that helps.

Alot of people I knotice are overcharging there battteries. If you read intellicigs instructions it says to never charge over three hours. Anything over that starts to degrade the battery! Which means you are KILLING the battery you will have less performance and shorter battery life. If you look in the back of the USB charger it may say when you have reached full charge. The USB plug I got with my intellicig four months ago said a slow flag between red and green is full charge. What I do it just never leave it on for more than three hours. Mine will last more than eight hours and four months later still lasting over eight hours. I got a new USB charger from intellicig and it does not say what full charge is on it but the light on the tip of the battery comes on.

Lithium ion batteries are different than nickel cad batteries. I've emailed several companies about charge times and they all are the same I have never heard of anything over four hours!! They are not cell phones!!! NEVER CHARGE OVERNIGHT your just ruining your investment. If you don't bealive me email the company and ASK. I don't know where people get these ridculous charge times 8-12 hrs I've ruined batteries when I first started e smoking so that's why I get worked up about it. THRUST ME!!!

They have plenty of info on their site:

Download a PDF of the evo/m401 manual AND a quick start guide:

Thanks for the tips. Mentioning the difference from ni-cad is a plus since i am an old rc guy.

I figured this info would be under faq or instructions on their site.

As far as my charger there is no flicker ,just a solid green or solid red. The only flash i have seen from the batteries are when you screw them in they flash a few times.

Some other notes:
The batteries don't seem to last that long on these things. I got about 70 drags off the long m4 batt and maybe 40 off the small one(didn't count but was alot less. Most of these where double button pushing since you don't seem to get much of one before the timer kicks it off. Looks like i need more batteries and chargers.

These things seriously need another hole or 5 in the battery or i need to adjust my style. If i try to hit it like an analog i feel like i'm going to bust a lung which is not fun.

I'm not real happy that when i went to refill a cart it had SILICONE holding the fiber in. This might not be a problem if i had received the 10 "ready to fill" carts i ordered instead of 10 prefilled intellicig carts i got. Do all carts come with silicone holding the poly fill in?

I will say these give a huge vapor off of dripping but don't seem to like the pg stuff i ordered separately when refilling the intellicig carts. This being the second day i may be doing it wrong. I'm filling the cart(8-10 drips) and putting one-2 drips on a drained atty.

Does the 510 or another model have better air flow than these m4's? I would drill extra holes in these batts but i doubt it would be a good idea and void the warranty.
