How do you charge an e-cig without electricity?

I have one of those car jump starter battery packs that has several cigarette lighter ports in it. I'd use it...I had too once already and it worked great. After that went dead, I'd go nuts but eventually someone would come up with something. I'd be after every battery I could get my hands on that would fit in one of my mods and pray it won't explode on me. I'm also with Iffy...pull out the firearms...just sayin'.....
Big diodes might survive an EMP, at least the ones used in generators. Same with a transformer. They're pretty sturdy. If the EMP was severe enough to fry those, you wouldn't have to worry about vaping. All you need is a generator and a 5V transformer. Might have to hand crank the generator or convert a bike or something.
My Tenergy charger takes a 12VDC input. I'd use a 15 volt bicycle generator, mounted on the bicycle, a 7812 regulator, and a coaxial connector to connect to the charger body. Then ride wherever I need to go and charge my batteries.
And a solar cell array charger would work....

To those that have not read all the posts: Your chargers and solar devices will not survive an EMP!
You are not old enough to think of that - sadly to say I am (lol)... Also you need a bit of backwoods country in you also...

I don't really understand what the problem is. After all, the EMP will either take out all e-cigs, or more likely, will cause a zombie apocalypse. We all know that zombies are stooopid. So.....

The boys just offered to pedal the stationary bike for charging my batteries. I love my guys.
We have the solar array type panels.. and the big batteries... but our control panel would definitely go out.
Hubby said he's been wanting to make a "still" too...
Supposing the plants and animals don't also fry, we should be alright.

Wouldn't an EMP only take out things that do NOT have power at the time? Seriously, unless it's powered it's just sand and solder at that point isn't it? I know...it would still affect it...I just don't see how.

Thanks for all the good ideas Well and if an EMP blast occurs, whoever caused it would be attacked with all available nuclear systems that remain unaffected. This could cause a nuclear winter and perhaps more volcanism which might blacken the skies to the point solar chargers become useless. Wind power would not be effective as that equipment would be fried. You wouldn't be thinking about sticking oranges and lemons in series parallel circuits to charge up your PV they'd be eaten. Solution - you'd have to drink your juice drop at a time. So buy tasty juices just in case and think happy thoughts in the mean time!!!
