How do you figure out resistance and all that fancy stuff

I looked around and the coil resistance is not stated that I could find. You need a ohm meter.

For that device (I did find where it had the battery as well) it probably doesn't. If you go variable voltage, variable wattage or mechanical mod in the future, you will probably have outgrown that carto as well.
I should probably explain more. What you have there is a very basic device and there is a lot of information that really wouldn't be relevant right now. Keep reading around here and the info in the new members area up at the top of the page and you will find out what kind of rabbit hole you have stumbled in to.

Okay. I bought this device because it looked nicer than the other ones being sold at the store I was in. However, after refilling it the first time ive started to experience leaking problems (and accompanied gurgling). The airflow chamber is not flooding, but there is always some in the mouthpiece when i unscrew it. I have tried doing what all the threads on these problems say, but i think it may be a problem that would require some knowledge about the products' design. It wasn't cheap, so I'd really like to fix this, do you have any advice? Thanks so much for the help!
The ohm rating or resistance of the heating coil determines how hot the coil burns to vaporize your e-liquid into vapor.
Lower ohm = warmer vapor. Higher ohm = cooler vapor.
Lower ohm = warmer vapor. Higher ohm = cooler vapor.
Not many shops have the resistance listed. I found it here. 2.0 ohms, at least the one they sell. That makes sense too as that's appropriate for a non-VV battery.
It's not a bad idea to get yourself a cheap DMM. Mine was around $10 from Amazon and it does the job. Some of these cheap ones are not that accurate, but I've found most are good enough for what we do. You will then be able to check what the resistance of a coil is and if it has a short. You can also use it to check voltage (and thus state of charge) of removable vape batteries and around the house for checking non-rechargeable (and other rechargeable) batteries. Alkaline are 1.5V nominal, around 1.65V when new and when they're done around 1V.

Okay, so that clearomizer keeps gurgling and leaking stuff into the mouthpiece (nowhere else), and i have no idea how to fix it. Do you think it could be a problem with the coil, or with the silicon cap on the head of the atomizer? It wasn't gurgling until i refilled it the first time, and i was careful doing so. I've cleaned it, ensured everything is in the right place, and i drag properly, but this still happens every time i drag. any ideas?
Welcome to ECF, ratharax and a big congrats!! It would seem you found a new brand of clearomizers and tanks, that haven't been widely used in the US, or by ECF vapers. I Googled around and saw some good comments on a South African forum, and sales in various sites in euros...
From what I can see from the pictures they have few different styles, similar to the Vision CE5 and Vivi Novas, but the heads look very different. Leaking is usually from a gasket that isn't positioned just right. Or the wick pulling in liquid too fast, fluff it up a bit with your finger and it may help.

Okay, and when you say fluff the wick what exactly do you mean by this? i just tried lightly rearranging it but it didnt have any effect (and it didn't really feel like i was "fluffing" it, so i dont know if i did something wrong. Should i post pictures of the clearo?
Pictures might help. Fluffing would be just separating the fibers of the wick slightly so the liquid doesn't flow to the coil too fast. If the wick is too solid or twisted together the liquid can leak too fast from the tank to the coil and airway.
okay, I tried doing that, with my hands but was afraid of damaging it, so ill try again very gently. to elaborate on the gurgling/leaking, when i start inhaling the first second or so feels fine, and then there is a gurgle and the vapor changes consistency with the gurgle (and the noise that the vape makes becomes deeper). If i continue to drag steadily and with moderate strength then it remains relatively consistent with minor gurgles (but still the same consistency/noise that it changed to after the first second). If i drag slowly and consistently (which im told is the right way) then there is no clear beginning, it starts gurgling right away and continues to gurgle and change throughout the draw. Either way, liquid can be found in the mouthpiece after if i unscrew it, but not in the airway
From what you describe it sounds like the juice is being sucked in faster than it is being vaporized. A slow gentle draw is the correct method. If your batteries were variable voltage I would recommend trying a bit higher voltage.
One other possibility is the e-liquid you're using. Do you know the PG / VG ratio, if not how thick does it seem to be. Is it more like water or maple syrup?

It looks a bit like the older version of the vivi nova that had short wicks. Could you be filling the tank too full? or getting liquid in the center post?
Looks just like a Vivi Nova...and the wick doesn't look big enough to fill the hole in the side of the head when you put the silicone top on. What you can try is a little piece of cotton gauze or silica wick if you have any and lay it across the coil before you put the silicone top in place. The cotton should be fluffed up also, not compressed or twisted together, and just big enough to fill the hole completely.
