How do you protect good USB passthroughs?

A companion thread to 'How do you fix bad USB passthroughs?'.

I've seen various recommendations, including taping the cord, applying superglue or the like to the part of the cord that enters the LED etc.

What methods are people using? How well have they worked?

And, if possible, post some photos.

I put some duct tape on mine where it joins the battery casing, it works a treat although it doesn't look too sophisticated

Don't drip. No matter how careful you are some is bound to end up in the passthrough & destroy the pressure switch. Don't overfill the cart either

Prevention is better than cure.....
I put some black electrical tape on mine
where the wire joins to each part, it works a treat.

still going strong after 2+ months
and 1 for nearly 4 months.

never used a passthru before. mine is in transit. good to know that we need to protect this. i mainly bought a 901 for dripping at home. i have 401 for going out.

how about putting some hot glue there? seems like it would be water proof when it dries.
