People who get all p_issy if they see you vaping and think you are "smoking". Do you calmly come back with a smile and an explanation? Return the pissiness?

I've not had it happen to me...although I did have a pit boss in vegas ask me to stop "smoking" at the table. I ended up enthusiastically educating him on my setup and that it wasn't smoking it was just vapor. After he understood it he said it was fine.

I did have one person next to me outside the other day who acted like they were hacking because of my smoke. Ex smokers know what I mean...the person who hacks to make you feel like a douche for interruping their airspace. I got a little pissy on that lady and said, "I don't see why you are hacking lady...its an ecig...and all I'm blowing out is water vapor. Do you also hack over the steam coming off your coffee?" :)

I usually just give off the vibe to leave me alone, not intentional it's my nature. At work, since I am a little younger than most people I work with..going outside to take smoke breaks, I'll get ..... from the guys who still smoke cigarettes saying "If you're going to smoke, smoke the real deal" which I find outrageously ridiculous. When I step out for a quick break, people passing by may look at me weird, I get a lot of questions because my PV in no way looks like cig, they get curious. When there are kids around, I will stop or move somewhere else..this I have gotten props for. There's only two occasions where I did get snappy back. One was at an outdoor concert, the security guard got in my face and took my PV out of my hand. I b*tched him out and he gave it back. Another time was on a bus, I cracked a window and made sure it was okay with the driver for me to do so. This extremely regligious guy sitting a seat away just started ranting. I calmly explained my situation, what it was, etc..he just wouldn't stop. So, I said in a very calm, pissy tone.."Would you rather me sit here smelling like an ash tray like the two guys next to you? Or would you like to look the other way and enjoy the smell of Juicy Fruit? You don't have to stare at me as I get my fix. Be happy I'm not shooting up through my jacket."
Needless to say, people usually leave me alone.

That's why I strictly vape my Blu in public.
I have a better setup now. But people know exactly what it is.
The only time I've had an issue was @ the movie theater.
They said it was cool to vape in the lobby.

I had thought that for a backup device I might try a more traditional looking ecig - but I'm not sure after using the Provari if I'd dig something that didn't perform with the same quality. I can see a Blu (something that glowed a different color) being easily recognized by some as a ecig. I do get some strange looks when using my current setup.

Haven't had any rpoblems while vaping in public- sometimes an explanation is warranted for those that think I'm smoking. Greatest positive input and questions I get is from those that have a friend or loved one that smokes.

I'm finding that last statement to be very true. Had 2 guys in the office order units for their parents last Friday.
