hey thanks...... , some people buy bridgeless atomizers and all this kinds of stuff. here is my twisted view of it. I make juice for me so it needs to taste good on what I vape. I use the same kayfun clone day in and day out. or not kayfan clone clone if blueser is reading lol. so anyways if I am tasting something new I am not sure of I just take apart and clean up my kayfun and just put the chimney on then drip on that. looks kinda silly but whatever.I bet im not the only one but I think one of a few that do nothing really special or have a tasting ritual. if I like it I put the tank on and I am on my way. if not oh well at least the other parts are clean. usually I just fill the tank up and head out the door. Ive kinda got to where I know I'll like it before I mix it unless I am going outside my comfort zone then I will drip. I can always adjust it later if its not as good as it could be.

and I forgot. lol I get long winded and forget things. if you have a tank thats not easy to clean try and build your dripper coil to match the ohm of whatever it is that you vape on daily, if your tank uses silica use that in your dripper instead of cotton etc etc. like dogeggs said different ohms especially lower can change things sometimes a lot and not for the better lol.

I read the title and thought, "salty"...but that's not the real question, is it?

Currently I use a Chris Creations Fatty v3 or a Fatty v1.

I have quite a bit more of my recipes that were developed with Avid Vaper's I06 and Hannah's HH.357. Both are great dripping attys for the money. (long lasting and great flavor transfer per time & $)

I bought a Smok dripper at the local B&M for like $8 for just this purpose. I agree, stuff tastes different in my tank, but if I kinda like a flavor, I generally really like it in a tank.

So I read a bunch on DIY and have relied on others recipes (thanks HIC and willmc). Do y'all use a dripper to taste as you work on a recipe? I can't see cleaning out a clearo or RBA to taste each tweak of the recipe. What am I missing?

I use both a dripper (the igo-l) and cheap 510 atty's with a small peace of cotton in it. Either works well for me.

I got the identical Smok RDA from FT for less than $6 and it is my go-to tasting device. 2 ohm 30AWG kanthal wire with a small shred of organic cotton. I dry burn, rinse and use new cotton for a new flavor. Works perfect once I enlarged the air hole a bit. Hope this helps!

ps I like this dripper as it reminds me of a micro sized Stanley Cup! :)

I use the same build with mine and also enlarged the air hole. I use yarn or sterile, though.

I keep of couple of Kanger EVOD's around. When I make a batch I will put a little in one of them (usually about 1/2 tank) and try it. If I don't like it, it is easy to clean these out. Haven't gotten into drippers yet and have heard the taste is different.
I typically use glass tanks (Aero and PT2) so if it tastes good in a plastic EVOD it will definitely taste good in an Aero....

Another good tip I think is to give your juice a fair shot. By that I mean vape more than a few toots.from my experience even if a juice is fully "steeped" its going to go through a little change as the coil and fresh wicking material "break in" . vape it for a few hours or half a day. like I said I usually just fill the tank up. that will give you time to taste it fully and think about what it is you could change or what is good in it. rebuildable tanks and drippers are cool because not only is the taste better but they are easy and cheaply cleaned and changed to fresh wicks.
