How does your place of employment view vaping?

A senior manager where I work recently tipped me that our HR department is compiling a list of employees who vape ...

One of our known office snitches tried to quiz me about PVs, so I told him I used it to quit smoking, then stopped months ago ...

Hopefully that keeps me off the list ...

Depends entirely on the business. If you are in a professional atmosphere, you shouldn't expect vaping to be allowed. Let's say I go into a bank looking to apply for a home loan. When I go into the loan officer's office I find him with his feet propped on his desk blowing vape clouds. I'd immediately turn around and walk out (and I vape).

vaping at work sends a message IMO. It says I'm not here to be a professional, I'm here to satisfy my addiction or enjoy my new hobby.

My husband and a coworker vape inside their place of employment. The coworker is no longer allowed to vape in his work area that's adjacent to my husband's. His coworker, who is a smoker and has no intentions of ever quitting, is jealous that the person he works with can get his nic fix in their work area while he has to clock out and not get paid for smoke breaks. So he lied to the owner and complained that the vape makes his eyes burn. The owner told the other guy he can't vape in that area anymore. Douche move on the coworker's part, imo. He just goes into my husband's work area now to get a nic fix lol.

It could be possible it does bother his eyes if he's allergic to PG. PG vape does bother me.

I do paralegal work at an attorney's office, they couldn't care less. As long as I don't vape in front of clients, It's all good. My co workers don't mind because all my juices smell like jolly ranchers, and who doesn't like jolly ranchers?

As a kid, I hated jolly ranchers. Too many memories of mouth sores from sucking on too many in a row.
