An eGo starter kit with 2 CE5 clearomizers for all of 4 days. I've had my MVP 2.0 with a Kanger Protank II and the iClear 30 that came with it for the other 4 days. I plan on getting 2 more Protanks soon.

Today is my 10th day without an analog. I move up pretty fast but it's been worth it to not crave and cave into another stink stick.

How fast did my devices advance? Oh, well in about 7 weeks I was into a mech and an RBA after starting with a wretched little flea market e-cig that truly sucked. That's it there on the left, it's called the Smart (tm) ecig. Well anything called smart is only smart for the one selling it, trust me on this!

Now I'm on my second mech and my second RBA. Mechs and RBA's are my niche, and I can't think of a reason to use anything else.

Halo G6, like a lot of people. I liked it but that Halo mini-tank clearo opened the door for me. The little thing was a better vape than the Halo cartomizer, and it looked cool too. Two months later I have an iTaste SVD on order. Along the way have been Vision Spinners and various clearos and carts. One day I'll probably getting into rebuilding coils and a mech. Not in the mood for that yet though.

I started vaping with a halo g6-like kit a couple years ago, quit smoking a couple weeks with it and stopped using it. Then I picked up an ego kit and ce4 5 or 6 months ago, quit smoking again. Last week my last ce4 cracked and I stopped at a B&M for a better clearo. Got an EVOD and got to see pro tanks and fancy APVs so now I'm eyeing a mini pro tank and MVP2.

I also started with the Blu Disposables and loved them. Jumped to the Blu starter kit and hated it. I learned what a REAL vaping setup was and bought an Ego.

1 month after that I sold it for $30 to a friend and bought an eVic. This thread is actually a good question and the situation probably comes up often with new users.

In response to the title question...

I bought a couple of disposables. Within days I had an Evod starter kit and I quickly added a couple of Mini Protanks to that setup. Within a month I had two inexpensive mechanical mods. I have since added an MVP2. I'm eying a couple more mechanicals, but want to hold off.

I started with the greensmoke cigalikes, was like trying to drink pudding through a coffee stirring straw. Didn't last more than a few days.

Next step was the Volcano Inferno kit. First week went ok, but started to take notice that all their juices tasted like soap. Still, stuck with it a bit longer, and once I found another B&M selling e-juice, things went a bit better. Vaping the inferno was like drinking water through a straw full of pinholes, airy was an understatement. Was still firing the analogs time to time as I was still missing "something" but was well on the right path.

Once I started the ego/iclear16 combo and found an e-juice supplier I liked, analogs immediately became a thing of the past. I still use the ego's for daily use, but for home or on a trip, I use the MVP2 w/ iclear30-S.

I've been at this for about 3-4 months now, get nauseated when I smell cigarette smoke in the air and especially when it lingers in someone's clothes/hair. Was seriously considering going up to something else like a mechanical or another PV like a Provari, but going to put that on hold as I'm actually quite satisfied with what I currently have. I'm sure there is something "better" out there, but for now, I'm really happy to be off cigs after 20+ years and just really enjoying my vaping experience.

i started on BLUs back in 2010.....then i started rebuilding them which was not heard of then....then went to 510 batteries and cartos.....starting rebuilding those with the spring mod......then went to dripping on 510 attys which was great but a hassle when on the go....then went to the Ego style batteries and did carts and tanks......slowly went to clearos and VV style egos.......then to APVs like the VAMO and SVD.....now on the REO and mech mods........im slowly working into sub ohm so thats my next stage and who knows what will come next......LOL

Two months ago ... I said enough with smoking ... yeah, I know ... it took 30 years to wise up.

I am in Toronto Canada, I didn't think there was much up here ... so I had my Mom send me a Blu kit from Florida and was able to cut down on smoking (I still use it) ... then 50 days ago, I bought an eVic and totally quit smoking for good.

Now I am DIY on the juice and having a blast ... I am very content with my eVic, as it is very simple to use and maintain.

My eVic now has 13,725 puffs on it's odometer :2cool:

Started with cigalikes from walmart (mistic), then ordered halo g6,
minimum of doubles on everything below except MVP and aga-t+
week 2 - ego 650's with ce4 clearos,
week 3 - ego 1100 mah pass thru's with vivi nova's,
week 4 - VV ego twists,
week 6 - mvp1 and iclear16,
week 7 - started DIY juice due to 50ml per week usage
week 8 - vamo, aga-t+,
week 9 - evod and protanks and rebuilding the heads for them,
week 10 - cut up credit cards due to equipment buying addiction
Now - broke even based on savings from quitting analogs and am feeling great

Wow this is exactly where I feel like I'm going.

I started with blu's, then bought a G6 with minitanks and was happy with that for about a week and a half, but got sick of the leaks, so I bought some e-Smart clearos, which are so much better than the minitanks. How I'm looking at so many different setups my head is starting to spin. If I had the money to buy them all, I'm sure I would. It's just that I'm less concerned with which battery (probably going to go with either a Triton since I do like Halo or a eGo Twist), and more concerned with the tanks.

I can see myself spending a LOT of money on bottom coil tanks to run pure VG juice, all to see which one I will like the most.

It's gone by so fast! I started vaping two months ago.
Sept 13 - the Dreaded Blu starter kit
Sept 25 - EVOD kit
Oct 9 - Ce3 Clearomizers (for the Blu batteries as a stealth vape!)
Oct 23 - 1300 Vision Spinner, dripping atty and Mini RDA
Nov 6 - MVP 2, Mini Protank 2 and Kanthal wire (to try my hand at micro coils!)

Not to mention 23 different types of juice from four different places...

I think every penny I've saved by not buying butts has been spent on vaping. I think I'm done until after the new year or until the next shiny thing distracts me!

Jeez, I can't believe how fast everyone "moves up"...

I didn't want to quit, so maybe my mind frame was different.

Bought 3 disposables over roughly 3 months (used them in the car, still smoked most of the time)--thought, "this is interesting, I wonder if there's something better that I don't have to throw away..."

Bought an eRoll kit with an extra cone for 2 cigs, and a couple 10mL bottles of juice. Quit smoking after a day of using that, and used it exclusively for 2 months.

In mid-May, I got a 1300mAh Spinner and 2 evods, then June 1 I got a Zen2 Carto Hybrid.

Still use the Spinner mostly (95% of the time), now have 3 Evods, a Protank II (which I don't like much), and was recently gifted 2 900mAh ego batts and 2 vivi novas (for someone that I hope will quit smoking but until he wises up, I'm using).

I'm looking to get a couple more Spinners, and after using the Vivi Nova, I kind of like the top coil a bit better. Will probably pick up some iClear16's and a couple of carto-tanks.

Kind of eyeing the iTaste VV V3 (will probably be V4 by the time I actually get one, lol), Joye eMode, and Billet Box. Not sure if I'll get any of them...but likely the iTaste or eMode since I want to try variable wattage.

Maybe I'm limited by income, but I'm perfectly happy with my Spinner at the moment. 7 months vaping with a couple of short hiccups in there. So maybe not that much into equipment.

BUT--let's not talk about juices...:D:facepalm:
