I miss the lectures from my family
I miss the lectures from my doctor
I really miss those seizures I used to have
I especially miss having bit my toungue from a seizure, and not being able to go without smoking making the healing process all the more painfull and last an extra week.
Yeah .. I really miss smoking :p

I miss ashes going inside all my expensive music equipment
I miss going for a ride in my hotrod and the cherry blowing off in the wind and landing somewhere in the car
I miss pinhole burns in my shirts/pants/ties
I miss leaving one burning on an amplifier and turn around to see that it burned through the covering
I miss being asked for a smoke every single time I broke one out...Then asked for a light.

I miss it in the colder months, when I would pull the analog off my slightly dry lips and rip a piece of skin off that would draw blood.

I miss the panic that would set in when I would reach into my backpack and NOT find a fresh pack after finishing the very last one.

I miss the times when I would sit back, relax, reach for a smoke only to find I didn't have anything to light it with.

I miss driving off the road in a frenzy because I realized the .... that I flipped out of the window came back in and was setting the back seat ablaze.

I miss the shell shock when some guy that spoke like Apu Nahasapeemapetilon at the deli told me the ten spot I tossed on the counter wasn't enough for a single pack of Marlboros.

I miss all the phlegm spots on my bathroom mirror and on my dash and on my monitor.

I miss soaking my AC filter in isopropyl alcohol for an hour before before being able to clean the dust off with water. (now, I just blow it off with compressed air).

I miss the laryngitis that could not heal due to the 3-pack-a-day habit and it's threw-out-the-day smoker's cough that came with it. (I could not talk for the 5 months before finding the ECF).

I miss cupping my cig, from the wind, on a motorcycle. Left hand while riding, right while braking. Either way it made biking a bit more dangerous (not needed now). E-cigs rules on bikes. No problem with true 901 autos yet.

I vote this "thread of the year". Sticky yet another one. Please. If any thread will turn an Anti around, it is this one.

I miss having to smoke 2 or 3 cigarettes within 10 minutes outside the airport or in a smoking lounge just before I board the plane whenever I fly.

I miss having to run outside the house to have a quick smoke during an online poker tournament break.

I miss my cat sniffing the air and making a face whenever I step back into my suv after smoking whenever I have to take him to the vet or the pet spa.

:p

These were all good. LOL

I miss driving home and trying to caculate how many packs I had and if it would last till I left the house again or if I had to stop and begrudgingly go give the govt more stinking $$$$!!!!!! I so miss that! Now I smile and wave at the casino where I bought my cigs and mentally add up just how much $$ they aren't getting from me!! LOLOL

I too miss the nice burn holes in my clothes and carpet. They were so purty!

I miss cleaning that lovely yellow film off my comp monitor every few weeks. It was such a nice tinge!

I miss having to change my lamp shades every 6 months cause they matched my comp screen till I washed it and then things just "didn't go" anymore.

I miss my grandson saying, "Grandma you really should quit smoking." He started saying this at 5.

But this week I'm celebrating 6 months of "missing" all these things and more. Poor me!!!

You are so right about that lowwkeyy :D

I miss that little spark that jumps off and goes out before you can touch the spot that blistering shard of sun hit.

I miss that feeling when you rip a layer of lip off because of the filter sticking to your lip.

I miss taking twice the amount of Blood Pressure meds and still having 130-80 or so instead of half with 117/70.

I miss having to leave conversations, those intense hours long ones because I needed to smoke.

I miss sideways rain and being on the balcony anyways and acting as if it was a natural thing to do :D

I also miss going out there now when the YellowJackets have taken up residence close by and are constantly dive bombing the balcony o_O

I miss so much that I am about to order a combined 200 or so ml of juice and flavours.

:D

I miss purposefully chain smoking 5 in a row outside a laundrymat after being called a "public health hazard", "that thing should be illegal", "theres something wrong with those people" by the same woman in 20 mins while walking by me (under her breath of course)
Wow, I can't even begin to imagine what I would have said to her.
But I can pretty much guarantee she wouldn't have said anything after the first comment.
