How long can you refill carts? Do I need to buy "wicks"?

Ok so after have harsh hitting cartos on a 2 piece V2cig.com set, I've decided to move into 3 piece land.

I ordered the Joye510 kit from cignot.com along with several 3ml sampler size of VG juice. Trying to find my groove of a smooth hitting vape that I don't choke on.

So I'm explaining this to my husband last night who has been momentarily satisfied by the V2 - at least it's allowed him to cut back on analogs, but we're both looking for something that works for us both permanantly off analogs.

He brought up a very good question I didn't think to ask or had come across the answer.

I read atty's stay good for anywhere from 14-60 days - but nothing about carts...

How often do they need to be replaced? I'm talking the whole piece. Does it last as long as you take care of it and you only replace the wick?

If you burn the wick or filler by letting it get dry - (ok what is the tech. name for it?) - how do you replace it? And where do you buy it?

I have 5 blank carts coming. w/ 2 attys - I didn't want to invest a whole lot since I want to make sure this is going to be the right set for me. Thanks!

the filler that comes in them is polyfil which you can buy almost anywhere like even walmart in a huge bag for several dollars. you can find this in the sewing section of the store usually where they sell pillows, etc,

1 bag should last you a lifetime, I think.

there are other materials that people use like fluval. I dont care for it myself and only drip using a drip tip on my attys.

The 510,s hit pretty good but when I kept getting liquid in my mouth and found them to be a bit of a hassle. I also have a V2 kit. If it was harsh hitting it is probably the strength and flavor combo you were using. I know the cowboy fulls are pretty strong (aka harsh) but I find the medium and light to be pleasant. The vanilla and coffee are sweet and smooth. You might want to give some different flavors a try.
