093011_1317[00].jpgAbout 6 months but I went way overboard! I had 10 PV's and a bunch of e-liquid at one point. I've calmed it down lately. My banner is probably fairly accurate.

I gotta say I am starting to save a little bit of money now, about 3 weeks in. I got lucky though. I did my research and my e-Go has been a pretty darn good fit for me. Haven't had a smoke at all since 9-10-11. I may take a puff when I hit my 30 day mark for simple curiosity's sake/remind myself why its so great I've switched. As far as I'll be concerned my quit date will stay the same!! :p

I would have been saving a bit more buuut I've been trying a lot of juices, and buying back up parts for the peace of mind. I do notice more money in my wallet this week since I've gotten comfortable vaping now.

If I subtract monie$ spent for other folk, I broke even at about 4 months in. And yepper, I, also, spent some extra due to the dreaded 'tyro vaping viru$' and entering the DIY arena!

I should be able to 'coa$t' for quite a whil... Oh... wait... look... a new VV eGo with a 50,000 mAh wireless rechargeable battery...

About 14 days. Since then, I still put all the money I was putting towards cigarettes into a jar, and once a month, take that jar and put it into a bank account I created just for this purpose. All my ecigs related purchases come out of this account, and I have since bought a 52" LCD flatscreen TV with some of the excess.

I started on 9/8 Spent $203 on a volt kit,ego-t kit,E-power kit and various juices/atomizers,cartomizers,clearomizers and tanks. If I had bought my PAD from then til now I would've spent $225.45 So $22.45 Is what I've saved Since I started. I think I have enough batteries and don't see myself wanting to try anything else out yet for mods. But Juices I still haven't found anything I'm completely happy with so that could take me a while.

Now there's a smart idea!

Started vaping on 8-29 this year. Went whole hog on PV's, attys, cartos, juice - was able to switch from analogues to vaping; no smoking since 8-29.

Estimate it will take me about 140 days from now to "break even" (if I can keep myself from buying additional equipment).

Not able to put a dollar amount on how much better I feel now or how to value the reduced chance of lung cancer, emphysema, etc.; figure the reduced chance of disease is priceless.

Wow, I started saving real fast. About two months into it I started an automatic transfer on every payday (evert other week) of $50 from checking to savings. That's about what I was spending on a carton of cigarettes, but less than I was actually spending bi-weekly. I now spend e-cig money out of that account (and a little treat now and then). November 3rd will be one year with no smoking and about $800 built up in that account.

I started saving very quickly. I was pumping-out about $23.00 a day on two types of cigars, five of which I found myself inhaling from like you would a cigarette, and two of which I inhaled from a bit less. (This after quitting cigs twice.)

My investment in vaping, for everything up until today, is right about $300.00. I've been vaping for (at this time) 23 days; which means that, 10 days ago I broke even.

I will probably spend about 6% to 8% of what I previously spent on tobacco, on vaping devices or liquids over the first year.

My first 4 months or so I went negative. I'm sure I'm about breaking even right now, I've got enough juice to last for about 3 to 4 months, and I have enough atomizers to match (unless all of them go out at the same time). Once you get comfortable it gets easy to save money. Its just fun to buy more cool stuff ;)

I'm almost 3 months in and still spending more then I did on cigarettes. Recently purchased a couple mods though, so when I figure whether I prefer 3.7, 5, or 6 volts and the correct atomizer combination I plan to buy a wooden box mod with my preferred voltage capability and just stick to the juices I know I like to vape all day while occasionally sampling new ones. Eh, who am I kidding? I'll probably never save money. I'm enjoying vaping way too much to care at this point.

Still haven't broke even, and I don't think I ever will, unless I quit vaping (not gonna happen, most likely). I just did not smoke that much and when I did, it cost me the equivalent of three packs a month (I did RYO's, so I could almost make a carton for that price!).

I think that's the kicker... those of us who switched from smoking are saving more. I use to smoke about 1 1/2 packs a day. I was shocked the other day to see $9.75/pack
