I guess I was about 4 months along or so when the carport incident happened and I stopped smoking. Both of mine came early, but were still just over 7 pounds; son came 4 weeks early, daughter 5 weeks early. Probably a good thing... can you imagine the size of those babies if they'd cooked the whole 9 months?? LOL

Glad to hear she's okay, though, and I see you're just over 2 weeks out from smoking tobacco... great job!

epage,
I hear ya. My youngest child was born 3 weeks early at a whopping 4 lbs. They induced me saying she had a better chance outside of the womb than in because of my smoking. She had IUGR which means that she stopped growing weeks before and they directly related it to my smoking. I decided that day that if I couldn't quit smoking I was not having any more babies because my smoking almost killed her.

Brandon, Not at all!!

but don't try to lower the nic to a lower level or it won't work, she'll feel the withdrawls and give up too quickly. I'm no expert on this, heck I just started 2 weeks ago but twice I've noticed lower level withdrawls and it was not a pleasant feeling but luckily I figured out the problem and remedied it, if that happened to a new person who didn't know they might give up, and I don't want anyone to give up!!

I ordered 50/50, we've been using straight PV juice so I HOPE we have no bad reactions to the new stuff. lol

Nah I wouldn't lower the nicotine all at once I would slowly try to wean her off of it. She has heart deasease and high blood pressure issues and has had to have several stints put in. She has tried Chantix and the patch and still wound up smoking. I'm worried she will smoke while using the patch and she will take in more nic than usual and raise her blood pressure too high and she'll have complications. At least with vaping the nicotine levels can be regulated.

I think you mean PG instead of PV :p
My first juice I ordered was straight PG as well and it made me feel horrible. I was always congested and really tired as if I was dehydrated.
Since I have made the switch to straight VG I feel fine. I actually bought some VG from WalMart first and just vaped straight VG to test it and make sure it was indeed the PG and my congestion went away shortly.
Most use PG to make flavoring extracts so that's the only PG that makes it into my juice and it's a very small amount.
Some have the same reaction I had to PG to VG. It's different for every user.
I do notice the more VG you use the more vapor you get lol. Loads more vapor. It takes longer to evaporate though. When I vape I get surrounded by a vapor cloud. Contrary to what they say it does have a smell. Idk if you have ever smelled the smoke or vapor that comes out of those toy trains but that what it smells like. I had one as a kid lol and I would be silly and suck up the smoke and blow it out making it look like I was smoking. It's not the most pleasant smell. Yet it doesn't linger at all like smoke. Due to this I can't really vape in the car with my dad or around him and his wife. I don't think it's exactly water vapor like the commercial claims and whatnot lol cause I have smelled steam from steam cleaners and while steaming foods and I have smelled mist/vapor coming from an ultrasonic humidifier the medical kind and the ones used for reptiles and they have no smell. Idk if you have tried french inhaling but it isn't very pleasant lol.

lol yes I meant PG... my brain was thinking PG/VG, that's where the V came from...lol

Your Mom's health sounds like my Mom's. She's had 2 quad by pass surgeries, countless stints. Her cardiologist gave us 5 years after her last quad bypass... it's been 6. She has diabetes as well and smokes like a damn train. She actually has vapes but uses a cigarette instead. Her excuse is that my step dad smokes. Ok, I don't mean to be mean and all hyper critical but dammit, I've been using these things for 2 weeks and no desire to smoke cigarettes at all, in fact I can't stand the smell of those nasty things! It's another excuse for her not to put them down!! Ugh I had no intention of spewing on about MY Mom!!! Just support your Mom and if you have to keep her vapes at a high nic level that's WAYYYY better than her smoking cigarettes!! I'd be THRILLED if my Mom would just stick to the vapes.. ugh!!

I smoked for 40 years and had no intention of quitting. I liked to smoke. I got an e-cig to play with, just for fun, I imagined it would be BS. I had 2.5 cigarettes left and played a game of "puff the cig, puff the e-cig..." I haven't picked up a cigarette since.

I did the same. Everyone at work was getting onto e-cigs and they were raving about it. So I got one just to play with. A day later I hadnt had any cigs so I figured I might as well just carry on. 3 months down the line now :)
