How long does vapor's tongue usually last?

I've had hardcore vapors tongue for several weeks. My favorite liquid is nearly flavorless at the moment. So bad, that I routinely hand my mod to my wife to taste because I think something is wrong with it. And of course she assures me tastes like it should.....

I am routinely guilty of chain vaping, and I never drink enough water.

Mouthwash, hydrogen peroxide, brushing my tongue or using a tongue scraper have had little effect.

More water may be of some help for me (I will try) , but I think there might be something to the idea that my tongue has gotten used to the flavor....time to find a new one.

Your taste and smell senses are very closely related and your sense of smell controls how things taste. When you vape the same flavor over and over you begin to get what is called olfactory adaptation and the flavors that you taste constantly are affected by this adaptation. Rotate flavors with every tank if possible.

Also watch your coffee intake. It can have a net dehydrating effect and kind of knocks the edge of your taste buds in best case.
