they're listed as Drip Resistant not leak proof but I would contact smokeless image they should replace it under warranty you were using a pre-filled carto so it's probably a dud and not your fault

Thanks Kabonk, yah I actually just contacted them and they're going to replace the battery free of charge. Their customer service seems to be very good!

..... Most vapers vape 2mls a day with heavy vapors using 3+. The folks that use alot of juice use hardware that allows for more juice and low resistance cartomizers that burn more.........

From polls on this and other vaping sites, the average vaper goes through 3ml - 5ml a day. 1ml - 2ml a day is a light vaper.

If 4.5 to 7.5 is moderate than call me a moderate. I've vaped at 8. It's all vapor no flavor. The forums are filled with those who have turned vaping into a hobby. Many enjoy vaping slim cigs and 2.5 ohms at about 5.5 watts. They just don't care to make sure everyone on the boards knows about it any more than they would have thought to turn to the forums to let everyone know when they liked to smoke Marlboro Menthols.

Thanks for your feedback Kabonk and Keys, really appreciate it! You know I'm starting to wonder about these Volt sealed batteries. They seem to work really well but one of mine just died on me after two days of using my own prefilled carto. I'm kinda wondering if the juice got into the battery. I love the idea of a sealed auto but wondering if its really leak proof? Anyone have any experiences like this with the sealed volt?

Yeah the "sealed" auto batteries are not actually sealed like a manual battery. If they were, how would it be able to tell when you were taking a drag? I wish that they wouldnt call them sealed and think of a better name for them bc I feel it makes people think they can still kill them and maybe not be as careful as they normally would be with a regular auto battery.
The difference in the "sealed" auto batteries is just that instead of the hole being right in the middle, its off to the sides. Thats how it still knows your taking a drag even though its "sealed". While it is harder to kill the sealed auto batteries with a juice leak bc the holes are on the sides and not right in the middle, you can def still kill one with a bad juice leak.
So even though they are "sealed", keep in mind they arnt really, and be careful with them

I've tried CE2 and CE3 and vision carto granted when you get them to work it the juice taste great but 70% of the time they don't wick right for me and I don't like fiddling with them I'm quite happy with a 3ohm boge in a carto tank and tossing the carto ever 5-7 days

I've found that they definitely don't work well, if at all, when you don't loosen up the seal before the first fill, or don't get the first fill just right. Once you have the knack for getting them started though, they really are a pleasure to vape and the refilling is easy-peasy - IMO. I'm still new enough at using them to not have a good idea as to how long to expect them to hold up. So far I've tossed two out of my first five learning how to get them going correctly and even then, pulling my juice back was a breeze compared to the "swinging on a condom" needed for saving dead or dud carto juice. And I've wasted a lot less juice in general since I started using CE2s. Not nearly as messy for me. I'm looking forward to their getting the design fixed so they'll be ready to use straight out of the package. It doesn't sound like it'll be too long from some recent videos I've watched.

Happy vaping, Y'all!!

Polyfill cartos last me a week of constant use, and by constant, I mean I just top off that carto for a whole week and don't vape anything else. Ce2's last me months if I clean and dry burn em once in a while. Got a regular boge in a liquinator, been using that since 1-18, still going. So the liquinator tank seems to extend the life of regular cartos at least a little.

The lifespan of a cartomizer, regardless of brand or style, is going to vary from one unit to the next. I have some that have been crap after the first fill, while others have stayed strong through a couple dozen refills. I use all KR808 gear (plus Go-Go batteries with KR808 adapters) and my preferred cartomizers are Boge LR, SmokTek LR, V2, and Bloog - all blanks. I fill with 80% - 100% VG juice, usually Copper Creek House Blend, Boba's, and Raf-a-Licious. Note, those are all high-VG and dark juices, which are known to shorten cartomizer life.

In the end, lifespan varies from one unit to the next. I find that typical expected lifespan for my usage to be about 5 - 10 refills. Keeping two or three in rotation all the time, I discard about one cartomizer a week.

Who wants to vape at 4.5 watts? From what I have read, those who use variable volt models usually keep it around 8.5 watts.

Many people, some of them very experienced vapers, especially those who prefer delicate flavors, like fruit and certain desserts.

Higher Wattage works better with strong flavors like tobacco and coffee, but it will alter if not kill any flavor subtlety in delicate concoctions.

I agree. We are all different and we have different likes and dislikes. Some of us like cigarette-shaped mini batteries, others like to vape devices resembling a muffler. To each his own. Whatever keeps one away from smoking is a good thing. :)

4.5-7.5 Watts is the optimal and safe range, IMO, for cartomizers, where the risk of burning filler is always a consideration. Below 4.5 Watts the liquid may not vaporize properly, above 8 Watts, the polyfill and the juice itself may start burning.

For those who prefer high Wattage vaping, 8.5 W and above, I always recommend direct dripping or other fillerless devices.

My cartos last between 5 days and three weeks - depending on which carto it is and which juice I use.
Dark coffee, chocolate and similar juices seem to clogg up the carto faster than lighter fruity juices. I vape somewhere between 3 to 6 ml a day, and have 4 PV's in constant use, so that I can rotate and have different flavours.
