How long have you quit smoking?

Hey guys,

I havent logged on in awhile, but now im back with a question. How long have you been off of the cancer sticks? Its been over three years for me, and im as healthy as ever. I use 26mg menthol and a LR510, equivalent to a pack a day of nicotine. How about you guys?

As my signature sez: Stopped smoking the day my e-cig starter kit arrived: March 6th 2010. During the first 6 months or so I bummed 3 cigarettes to compare with vaping. I wasn't compelled to smoke ... I just wanted to "remember" what it was like. Just curious y'know.

No comparison. Vaping was hands down the winner in taste. And I noticed the stench. I don't even have a shred of curiosity re: smoking anymore. I just happily vape all day long.

since sep 15 '11. i had a 10 day period where i smoked close to 100g of tobacco when my atomizers in my ego-t starter kit. i have no desire to go back, ever.

yeah, the relapse thing for me is mainly just for nostalgia's sake. One analog a year.... But I dont even get light headed or "buzzed" off of an ultra light with the filter cut. To me, it tastes gross and feels 'unclean'. Plus I need a bit more nicotine after the analogs finished. Ive been using the LR510 (bridge removed for dripping) in a home made nicostick for over three years now. My lung capacity/function and heart function is perfect and Ive actually lost a ton of weight since I started.
Thank god for e cigs.

Closing in on the 2.5 year mark now - no lapses. I started at 36mg and now vape 12-19mg on my KGO. Favorite juices are from Virgin Vapor.
