How long to stop smoking cigarettes?

The day I quit smoking was the day I got my vapeing stuff.

Yes, me, too, that. Haven't had a cig, or the desire for one, since my first vape.

3 days. I smoked for 37 years & was down to my last half pack of cigarettes. Tried patches, gums, pills, everything except smoking cessation therapy, over the course of 5-6 years, Only vaping compelled me to quit.

The last 3-4 cigarettes, I was literally gagging on them, so nasty tasting. The last one, after just 2 draws, was about to vomit, smashed it into the ground & never looked back. This was in late November 2013 & thanks to the folks here, a family operation whom makes their e-juices at home, I was finally free of tobacco.

They also gave me a CASSA pamphlet with the name of this forum for support written on the back, should I need further support & education.

Took me 1 1/2 weeks. Only on the last three days and they tasted horrible. Never looked back!

Smoked for 42 years..at times 30 a day..the past couple of years was down to 15 a day..Started Vaping..in The beginning of april....April 8th..was my last cig..Been smoke free 120 days...LONGEST EVER!!!!..THE SECRET....When i wanted a smoke...I VAPED until I didnt want a smoke..Worked for me

I smoked my last cigarette the day I got my first setup. It was an ego twist and crappy CE4 clearomizer with generic juice. Lol. But I never had another cigarette. Now my setup is MUCH. Better. And my taste in juice.

And you should be proud - getting rid of cigarettes is not an easy thing to do and I don't think anyone will argue with that To answer your question, it took me about two weeks to completely quit smoking.

I decided to quit smoking in sept 2013 but patches etc were not working for me and i still had the occasional .... I bought an ecig begining of oct 2013 and from day 1 of using it i havent touched a ... which i didnt think possible. I dont even miss them anymore even when friends are smoking tbh the smell makes me feel sick.

Everyone is different regarding this, but it took me 2 months to actually quit smoking. Dropped them like a hot potato and never looked back. Happy vaping!!
