Thanks for the info I was just curious I see videos like this and was wondering how they can justify saying it's safe

Those two donkey dicks are beyond ridiculous. Most regulated mods wouldn't register that as a coil and this wouldn't even technically be safe in a dual 18650 mech mod. With a fully charged battery the amp draw would be 70A, 3.5x the battery's maximum safe discharge limit. This is why people think sub ohm vapers are all total asses.

I watched that video and it was illuminating in a sense. These guys are risking their life because they want strong, isolated 1 second or so bursts of vapor. He claims that's safe if you're willing to limit yourself in that way. Even without getting into the safety, I'm not impressed. What the hell is the big hurry? Is that even enjoyable?

The other thing he doesn't mention about why .06 doesn't immediately blow up is a lot of energy loss in the mod and battery. Why push it to the point of diminishing returns when actually suitable equipment is available?

It never ceases to amaze me...these guys (and not just these guys) sit in front of a camera and build these ridiculous builds. Somehow, they are considered veteran vapers that are innovative and cutting edge. They're all ....... If you need to build under a .2 to get a good vape, you're doing it wrong. Early on, we had kanthal. Yes, you had to push the boundaries a bit to achieve a certain vape. But these days, we have SS, Nichrome, designer wire....all kinds of options.
The REAL veteran vapers are the folks that can make a .3 ohm and up build perform.

The sad thing is people like Zophie need to fear for their channel while those brainless chimps fly under the radar.
One thing to put out a build video, another thing to promote it as safe and perfectly fine "if you know about batteries" which they clearly don't.

If I was those boys' Daddy I'd take their phones away and change the WiFi password.

Some kids aren't mature enough to be on the internet. Especially after their bedtime on a school night.

You're right, but it's worth noting that this sort of stupidity has survived Darwinian selection so far, so must have some adaptive value.

With the way things are now, we have so many people out there protecting the stupid, it is too hard to tell if it actually has adaptive value or if it is a product of our current society. I for one vote for the latter.
