How many batteries do yo have for a mechanical?

How many batteries do you (or should you get) if you are running 1 mechanical mod.

I heard good things about the MNKE IMR 18650 1500 mah but am undecided.

How many batteries SHOULD I have handy when running about .5-.8 ohm set-up in 1 mechanical mod.

I vape heavily too.

For one mod I would get 3 batteries so I could charge two while vaping the last. I have several, but I use more than one mod. I rotate 4 18350s, 4 18490s and 8 18650s. The 18650s I also use for other purposes, tho. Two in emergency flash lights and up to 3 in a battery bank.

I'm down to 3 right now. I have 2x Sony VTC4 30 amp and one Panasonic 10amp. The VTC4's see the most use and those two tend to last me all day with a .6 ohm twisted micro-coil on my Nemesis Clone. The Panasonic is just an extra to get me through if I happen to need one more battery before I get to sleep after being up for 12-15 hours of the day.

I have 4 sony 1600mah, 4 sony 2100mah, and 4 aw 18350s...

I rotate them through giving them more than enough time to rest...

Vaping heavily at .5-.8 ohms, I would want at least four batteries. One key will be using a quality fast charger, so you can turn them around in a couple hours.

i have 6 18650, 2 18490, and 2 18350 batteries. i mostly use my 18650 when i'm out and at work. at home i'll switch between my 3 mods.

i also subohm vape the 18650 (0.3-0.4 with Sony VTC4s 30A/AW 1600 mAH 24A) and 18490 (0.5+ with AW 18490 15A)

I don't need so many 18650s, but i have them scattered around home and work

I buy batteries based on what toppers I have...for example...if I have a topper for sub ohm I buy two batts for that topper. I have about 12 18650s...I don't use 18350s really.

I just bought a magneto the other week. I currently have three 18650s, 2 efast 1500 and 1 samsung 2600 (from an evic). Im getting A couple 18350s for work (size is better) and they sell a lot for good prices on amazon

^ this - emphasis on the "30 amp". A lot of 650s (and smaller) are rated only for 10 amps and, depending on your coil setup, that might be too close to straining the battery for my likes.

For battery life and safety I would suggest 4 minimum 20 amp c rated 18650's going off of your stated usage. Not going to get sucked in to a brand war discussion. Do your homework and decide for yourself what brand serves your needs. Remember to let your batteries rest for a few hours before & after charging to get the max amount of cycles out of them.

At this time I don't believe there are any 18350 batteries that can safely support sub ohm vaping.
