Sorry if I mess up the terminology, but I've been wondering if most people have a single ecig/mod they stick with or multiples. I ask because I've come to the realization that I need to have at least two...one for home and in the car and the other strictly for at work. It's too much of a hassle to go back and forth with one ecig. I'm looking at and considering probably around 4 that I "need". Now, I know me and a couple others on the board do, too, and I'm sure within 6 months I'll have 6 or more plus all the accessories. I looked at smoking like a way of life and am smoke free since Sunday night (yay me!!). I look at vaping as a hobby and for me, hobbies are expensive and fun .

Half a dozen assorted eGos I don't use... but the wife and daughter love. 6 or 7 (I can't remember) VV and/or VW mods, and maybe 12-13 mechanical mods. It changes constantly... I gift stuff, sell stuff and buy stuff, so tomorrow... oh, wait, it is tomorrow. Anyway - in a few days, who knows what I'll have.

I'd agree with Cookster... that darn little iTaste 3.0 is pretty handy. I'd recommend that everyone should have at least one.

I horde my stash like a dragon. I have more mods than I care to admit, and just as many eGos. I, too, rarely give stuff away willy-nilly. If someone sees my gear and really, really, REALLY digs it and really, really, REALLY wants to quit smoking, then I hook 'em up with an eGo, a charger, a tank, and some juice, and tell them where to go for resupplies. But I've given away too many things to too many people who never ended up using them, and in most circumstances I woudn't ask for anything back that I had originally given away.

Let's see...I like vvs, so now I have 3 twists, an iTaste v.2, an iTaste v.3 and an MVP. Plus my 2 original little 650s. However, in the next 10 days, an SVD and a little Bagua clone should be arriving, so I can discover what those kinds of things are like.

I'm also seriously considering another MVP in case anything ever happens to mine ( don't care if it's v. 2 or not) and I think the Chi You clone is pretty.

I like ALL my stuff, and try to use all of it regularly. The MVP is especially great because the battery lasts so long. I tend to like things that are both practical and attractive. Since I get all my equipment from FT, my budget goes a long, long way.

I totally get that way sometimes. Like, "ah... if you're not going to use it, give it back and I'll find someone who will" type attitude. But I've tried really hard to not be that way. I mean, what do I have in a "starter kit"... $25 maybe? Screw it... sooner or later someone will use it, and it doesn't have to come directly from my hand to make it valuable to someone.

If I give away a mech... and I've given away 3 Magnetos in the last month (I'm all done buying freakin' Magnetos :glare:)... it's to someone who's already an intermediate vapist who wants something different. If it's a VV or VV-VW... again, it's usually a iTaste 3.0 or an MVP or SVD (I had a lot of Innokins) and they're moving from an eGo and want to see what all the VV VW fuss is about.
These are the kinds of generous and apparently well off friends and relatives that will, for no particular reason, hand me a brand new Provari, a SM Semovar or Nemesis. What I hand out comes back 10 times in value, so giving away a few $100 in egos and EVODs is, in the end... a "good investment" in my vaping future.

Bear in mind this is me and my friends, family and acquaintances... so maybe I'm just lucky, I guess. :)

I have currently
4 Smoktech Ego-Ts
1 Vamo V3 (DON'T get the black finish)
1 Smoktech SID
1 Johnson Creek Vea Kit
1 Blu Starter Kit

I keep the Vamo at my desk at work, the SID get's used at home, the Vea gets used when I'm out, and the Blu is the backup plan which I keep in my car. It's still been cheaper than smoking analogs.

Everyday all day set up - ProVari Mini with a Boge LR carto in a tank
Home just playing - a mech with an IGO with micro coils and cotton wick
Back up - Vamo V2 with trashed threads that I was able to get a 510/510 adapter on so I can still use it. (If I ever wind up with another Vamo, that'll be the first thing to go on it!)
I keep a few ego twists with unpunched cartos in a little case when a big mod would be inappropriate
I have a kayfun lite due to arrive tomorrow and a few more carto tanks and another mech and a zillion other things all because I needed to order some kanthal.

I only have one kit. I bought a case to cary my batteries, juice and tanks. Everything fits in to the case. So sticking it in my pocket is no big deal to me. The only item I have the most of are the charges. I have one charger at home, one in the car and one at the office. This way I do not have to worry about ever needed a charge.
