Ok, so I am addicted to this whole vaping thing. I am 20 days in and I have 3 batteries, about 15 bottles of ejuices, 2 Kanger T3S and 1 Mini Protank II. Am I going over the top? I like different flavors so I like having the tanks handy. But I seem to just keep buying. Does it slow down after a while? How many do most people have?

Also, what is a good suggestion when I want to upgrade or are my Kanger products good enough? I like a good throat hit and good vape so I know I am getting something.

Doesn't sound like too much - you have three batteries so a back up for your back up. A range of juices and a three toppers. Sounds pretty normal to me. I'm not sure why you are asking if your products are good enough. You're the one that can tell if you are getting throat hit and a good vape. You can (and prolly will) get plenty of recommendations to buy more stuff - there's no rush. If what you have works for you then get used to using it for a while first.

I can't think of anything that needs to be added to this advice. Enjoy!

I read somewhere that they typically lose 20% of their capacity per year, if kept at full charge. Might have been misinformation, of course.

what affects batteries most is the number of times of charged/discharged....well technically, what affects them most is if you drop them into lava, but thats a whole other conversation.

time sitting does have an effect, but not that drastic. these are the same type of batteries used in cell phones, ipods, marital aids, doomsday devices, simian torture probes...erm, what am i talking aboot again?

iVape.net Variable Volt Express kit - Generic 650 mAh, variable volt, passthrough with a plastic bottom coil clearo. $14.95! Couldn't go wrong to try vaping at that price.

2 iTaste VV v3s (Pearl Gray and Chameleon) - Both have been stolen by my husband.

2 MVP 2s (Brushed Black and Petal) - The Petal one went to my sister. I still have the black one.

1 Pink Provari Mini plus matching 18490 extension cap

5 IBTanked cartotanks - My topper of choice. I don't really have an all day vape. I need to rotate between several toppers filled with a different juice in each.

1 each of the iClear 30, 30b, 16b and 16

1 Aspire BDC ETS - This went to my sister with the MVP, along with the matching petal 16b

4 Mini Protank IIs - Have been collecting dust now, but I'm resurrecting them since I've started building coils.

2 Cirrus Vape cartotanks - Beautiful tanks and found them on sale!

1 Theecig.com Pryrex cartotank

1 OG Cigs handblown glass carto tank

3 Pyrex Hand blown glass drip tips (have many many more drip tips and I can't list them all. Listed these as they are my faves)

1 Nimbus clone - This is a rebuildable dripping atomizer

1 Hcigar Kracken clone - Genesis style tank set up in auto drip mode with a single coil wicked in cotton and coming in at 1.3 ohms

3 KR808D-1 cigalikes and cartos, plus a recharging case

Countless bottles of juice in various flavors except for menthol, absinthe and anise

While I've given quite a lot away to various family members over the last 6 months, this is all the equipment I've purchased with the intent to keep and use for myself. My husband also vapes and he's been through two of those iVape.net starter sets himself before he stole my iTaste VV v3's. He's also been eyeing the black MVP again since I've been pretty much only using my new Provari. He was going to take it a while ago, and I was going to use one of those VV v3's as my stealth device, but he felt the MVP was too large. One of his VV v3s has been having issues with the battery connector pin sinking down too far though and he's been using the MVP more and more as a result. I'm thinking I shouldn't have sent the Petal MVP out to my sister. While I only use my Provari really, it makes me nervous thinking of only having one device, no matter how many batteries I have and no matter the quality of the Provari.

I'm a newbie, so little help on what adjustable air valves add on is and where I would find one to look at it?

It's the Kanger Aerotank base basically. That's a device I haven't had the chance to try yet, and I doubt I will due to my love for cartotanks and rebuildables at the moment. However, in the world of clearos I hear that having adjustible airflow makes for a great vape.

Me, too, especially now with this whole FDA thing. Who knows when we won't be able to buy any devices. I have 2 itaste vv3s, a Joytech Spinner that I bought just because folks kept talking about them and I was curious, and an Evod Twist that I bought because it was pink! Lots of toppers of various kinds and colors because I am not adept with my hands (arthritis) and figure I can throw out things if I can't get the atomizers changed. Also a cupboard full of juices (stay away from the e-juice discussion part of the forum if you want to save $$).

With the price per pack here in NYC, I can buy a Provari once every two weeks along with keeping myself, my husband, and my sister all supplied with juice, coils and cartos with my former cigarette budget and still save money. The money isn't a concern, and I think I may need to buy a couple of mechs just in case the FDA shuts it all down, a couple more rebuildables for Hubby and I, and possibly a couple more Provari's. I wonder how long the chip really lasts in them? If it can truly last, I would prefer having more Provari's over mech mods for safety reasons.

My stash:

1 Itaste vv 3.0
2 MVP 2- one energy line and pink skull shine
1 Kamry K101
1 Reo Woodvil - being delivered this week! Yay!

As for toppers, too many to list. I have 2 KFL+ clones, which are now my favs, a Nautilus, an Aerotank, several pyrex Aros, several t3s, iclear 16s, smok pryrex champions, 2 RDAs, I forget the rest. In all over 30 different toppers.

And juice, well I have over 300! Love to try new stuff, but definitely time to stop that. Will only be doing reorders of favs now on that front. Think I'm pretty well situated for a while with my stuff. Oh yeah, and have lots of cotton, kanthal, silica wick, etc.

@Malkin, no you are not over the top. 3 or 4 batteries is nice, make sure you have multiple chargers!

Finding good juice (plus adjusting nic levels and pg/vg levels) seems to be steep in the first 3 months. To answer the next question, yes it MIGHT slow down after a while. It does depend on the severity of your case of "shineyitis". But if you don't yet have a VV/VW device, that is next to try.

As to "most people"? Hard to tell, as I think most people here are enthusiasts! :D

I have 5 batteries in rotation (ego and Halo), and about 12 various tanks. I hit money even after 3 months, now I'm money ahead, spending about 40% of what my 5 pack/week habit used to cost.

Find a friend or two here you can swap juices with.

And CONGRATULATIONS on Three Weeks!!

Depends on your budget and wants , I saw the writing on the wall early on by reading a lot of posts , I did not want to get into a never ending merry go round of buying and accumulation tons of stuff , I wanted to just have a dependable device or two at the most that would get the job done.

You can spend a lot more than you had planned if your not careful but if you like that then your options are limitless, it all depends on what your goals are . You do not need to load up on stuff to vape successfully so if you have a budget stick to it.
