Zero. *sigh*

Some of it has to do with age. I have one friend my age (21) who is quite literally not interested in switching. Even though he has one of the worst smokers coughs I've ever heard, which is rather impressive given he is so young. He smokes a lot, and has always had throat issues even before he smoked. And I guess the risk just doesn't seem real to him yet.

I have 2 other friends, also my age, who want to quit but aren't willing to make that teenie tiny step to do it. One of them has finally said he will give me 50 bucks and I'll get him a kit, and I will make juice for him. Deal.

The other, for some reason, and despite my attempts at educating him, believes e-cigs are extremely dangerous. But he's kind of... eccentric. He also got rid of his air conditioner, for the same reason.

And then there's my father. He has an e-cig, a charger, and cartos... but just won't use them. I don't know why.

*sigh*

Thanks for correcting the running total, MoonRose.

+4 more--

Running total: 55!
your last post said you're up to 20 (after you already said you had an even twenty) and then you said +4 more and that your total is 55.

Is it just me or does math just plain suck and we say screw it?

You are correct, (or do I mean to say I was incorrect? Crappity crap I'm confused!)

When I did the count at twenty, I guess I wasn't on the last page of posts. That's why I thanked Moon for correcting my err. I think we are correct at 55. And we have to be, because I'm a stickler for the details. As is obviously apparent by this thread.

Now, where the heck did I park my car?

YOPP!

0. I cant seem to get through to people. Most people I talk to are so interested but I have found so far that every person is ignorant, so I gave up. I'm sick of hearing people try to tell me that its just as bad as analogs and even after I go through the steps of explaining they are still smarter than me but yet sucking on a death stick.

For some reason even though there cig packs say right on them they cause DEATH they look at me bewildered that I would vape something without having any idea how safe it is.

I've converted a few peeps at work. I work at a natural foods store so the smokers working there are already feeling guilty, smoking outside on break while watching the prius drivers take off with their organic produce and such. It was easier than other places probably are to get through to people, perhaps.

dockholidaiy- i've certainly been there, if i have to hear about how i'm vaping antifreeze (even though i use VG...),etc, etc. again...well, it won't be pretty. I just calmly let them know that propylene glycol and artificial flavoring is and has always been in their cigarettes, along with the 4000+ other actually BAD/carcinogenic substances that, as a vaper, i'm no longer gagging on. It just seems like common sense, but unfortunately, that's really lacking in some....and they always seem to find me when I'm vaping at a bar, etc. arg.

It's so neat to see that smile on their face like"Man, this is cool!" Reminds me of my first vape.

Vapevirgin- A smoker who sees your PV and asks, "What's that?" You let them try it out, just to watch for their "Ohhh" face.

I just got another girl at work to order her first e-cig. Now I'm having to explain (yet again) the differences between PG and VG and all the other lingoisms. But we do it, because we must.

Hopefully I'll get to add her to the list soon.

Possiby 1 so far. I went over my moms tonight, it's the 1st time I'd been over since I got my own e-cig. I showed my parents and they both seemed excited about it. I let my mom try my 510 and she liked it. They proceeded to order a kit.

My mom has smoked for easily 40 years. Even if she uses the pv half the time she smokes it's still better than strictly smoking just analogs.

Based on information I've given out; 1 completely switched over to e-cigs from analogs, 1 has an e-cig but still smokes as well, 2 talking about purchasing but I don't think they have yet (haven't seen them in a few days), and I've given info out to I don't know how many folks that I haven't kept track of to see if they've tried them out.
