I originally thought that I would be vaping Zero and was mixing at 1.5MG for a while. Until I received a 60 ML bottle of Fog Minions Bake Sale and was vaping it one morning and the lack of nicotine was a disappointing experience. So I added the nicotine to make it 3MG and found that by slightly diluting it if you want to be critical that the flavor was actually better with the nicotine which is tasteless NicSelect. Just my personal experience and even though I thought one day I would be at Zero I changed my mind.

I will add though at 3MG if I can't vape for whatever reason I do not need to.

I have far less "jonesing" with my 3mg vaping compared to my days as a smoker, which I am happy about. I just really want to get over the nic hump because I would prefer to never have cravings than have less cravings.

Also - I would have never thought that nicotine would improve the taste but maybe I'll try that out sometime. :)

I have been vaping 3MG or less over 2 years so maybe it is the amount of time or how many MLs you vape per day and even the type or style of vaping that makes a difference in how much of that 3MG you actually absorb. Remember everyone is different and reacts differently. I chain vape and can fire through 20 MLs in a day if I want.

I am about to be trial running 1mg my goal is to eventually get to 0 have been hesitant i plan to make some 3mg still and keep a spare tank on the side for those moments. I remember how when my wife would buy the wrong smokes and get me full flavored instead of ultra lights after that pack it took excessive smoking to make up for the reduced ingredients. I suspect similar things will happen when i drop to 1 and will then level out and get to a normal, from 1 i suspect it will be easier to go to 0

I hope your quitting nic works out for you!

Can I assume your are DIYing @NU_FTW ? Easy enough to mix up some at 2 or 1.5 instead of going right to 1MG. When I first went from 18MG to 6MG I kept a bottle of it around but just gave it to my sweetie because I will never use it anymore. I do have some 6MG which is blast from the past if I want but with a bottle of 48MG Nicotine I always have whatever I need or want.

Yes, and ive done 1.5 before but i had too much 3.0 around but as i am almost 100% out and i make about 4L at a time in about 8 flavors i plan to not have a bunch of 3.0 around just enough for the fix plus i can always add more nic but its more of a PITA to take it away

i've used no nic since August 2015 after gradually tapering it off in the preceding period as i became more of a cloud chaser.

If you make your own juice, it's easy to add it back in again if you find that you miss it, but i was using so little finally in my mixes (say 0.75mg/ml) that one time i just left it out and still do.

I hope I can do the same. Congrats on quitting the nic!

I vape unflavored. Went from 24mg to 3mg over 3 years with better and better equipment. Those last drops from 6mg to 3mg were the hardest. Went from 6 to 5 to 4 to 3 over the course of a year or more. I have tried 0mg with flavor and without but mentally I just can't seem to conquer the no-nicotine thing. I suspect it is more mental than anything. I have had the flavor of nicotine in my mouth for more than 40 years, and I just can't seem to do without it.

See that is my worry i wish i could unknowingly create a bunch of 0 nic juice or have my wife deceive me but lets not get carried away she would have to be the DIY'r in the house to even try that and then have the idea on her own. I am also worried about the mental aspect i suspect advil water and good ol will power will be needed with a conscious decision to stop nic all together

I am down to 1mg with my super subohm tanks, but still 2-3mg for most everything else.

I tried going zero nic, but my body seemed to know. Doesn't make sense that something like 1/10ml of 100mg nic a day makes a difference, but for me it definitely does.

My wife is still at 6, but I am happy at 1-2 and will likely stay there.

Congrats for getting off the nic though!

I have been vaping 3mg nicotine for the past 2 months since I first started vaping and quit analogs, and I am thinking I want to get off the nicotine and vape 0mg in the future.

Taste-wise, is there a big difference? And how hard is it to get over the nicotine fix at the 3mg level?

Thanks! :)

How many ml's are you vaping per day ? Its not just the mg level you are using but also the amount of juice you vape per day that gives a much better picture of how much nic your body is still craving. You're getting about the same amount of nic if you are vaping 3 mls of 12 mg OR 12 mls of 3 mg.

My best advise is don't rush to get to 0 mg. Two months off cigs is a fairly short time.

Mix some juice at 3 mg and some at 0mg and switch between the two during the day for a few weeks. After a few weeks increase the amount of the 0mg juice you use each day while decreasing the amount of 3 mg. Don't rush the process.

We're all different so there isn't one specific plan that will work for everyone. The key is to finding what works for you. :)

I lost my addiction to nicotine about 5 months after I started vaping in 2010. That was after smoking for 35+ yrs. I prefer the taste of some of my juices with a little nicotine in them so for those juices I do 2 mg nic and the rest I vape at 0 mg. I handle nicotine the same way I handle caffeine. I normally don't drink caffeinated drinks, but occasionally I do enjoy a caffeinated drink and I'm perfectly fine with that. :)

the flavor is better with no nicotine.

I would suggest you take baby steps.

Get three bottles same flavor. 6 mg 2 bottles 0 mg. Mix together to drop you to 2 mg.

Then when you are ready for lower nic get 1 bottle 3 mg mix with two bottles same flavor of 0 mg mix and you dropped to 1 mg.

I smoked 38 years and tried everything but Chantix to get off of them even hypnosis. I thought i would die with a cigarette in my hand.

I started at 18 mg 4 years next May.

I DIY my Juice and been vaping 0 mg for almost a year. Be a year 12/28/2016.

I vaped a LOT more as i was stepping down but was determined to kick cigarettes to the curb.

I used to use 15% flavor. Now with no nic i lowered the flavor to 12%.
