I have far less "jonesing" with my 3mg vaping compared to my days as a smoker, which I am happy about. I just really want to get over the nic hump because I would prefer to never have cravings than have less cravings.

Also - I would have never thought that nicotine would improve the taste but maybe I'll try that out sometime. :)
Depends on the nic. I was using Wizard Labs Nic and the flavor was better without the nic.

i've used no nic since August 2015 after gradually tapering it off in the preceding period as i became more of a cloud chaser.

If you make your own juice, it's easy to add it back in again if you find that you miss it, but i was using so little finally in my mixes (say 0.75mg/ml) that one time i just left it out and still do.

T
You went Nic free four months before i did.

I started in 2010 at 36mg and stepped down 24, 18, 12, 6, 3 then 0 over a 4 year span and have been vaping 0mg for almost 2 years.

To me some flavors taste better with nic, some without and some I can't tell any difference.

The biggest difference I've noticed is TH, some flavoring and mixes have a TH of their own but it's still reduced in comparison. I've gotten use to it now though and would probably choke with a moderate nic level.

I just picked up two 30ml 0mg nic flavors (vanilla custard and sour strawberry) and after vaping I can say that without question, the flavor without nic is WAY better and therefore a more satisfying vape .

Vape-a-riffic! :)

If I could get down to vaping juice with ZERO nicotine, I would stop vaping altogether (that would be nice).

I started vaping 3 years ago in order to stop smoking. If I could completely do away with all nicotine, I can't see any reason at all to continue to vape.

I will continue to vape without nicotine. The things I like about vaping will continue without nicotine.

Different strokes!

Your addicted ... just like the rest of us that were stupid enough to start smoking cigarettes in the first place.

I smoked for 40+ years ... I am surprised my lungs even work anymore!

For me, I haven't smoked a filthy cigarette in almost 3 years (however, I do smoke maybe 2 cigars per month that I really enjoy).

Congrats on staying away from analogs. I'm 2 months clean of analogs, the longest in over 15 years of heavy smoking - and for good.

As i said above. All Depends on the brand of nicotine it is.

The flavors i use for DIY is way better without the Wizard Labs Nicotine i used.

Before long I found myself needing to vape some with nic. Less than an hour in fact.

Looks like going to 0 may not be happening. Oh well!
Going nicotine free takes several factors

1. Desire to be nicotine free.

2. Slow and steady it takes time for the body to adjust.

3. Baby steps as i described earlier. Reduce the nicotine by 1 mg about 2-3 months apart.

I DIY my Juice and I vaped 1_mg nicotine for 6 weeks-2 months then I went 0 mg. I had tge craving for a day or two so i vaped more than usual but after that i was a very happy person to have that monkey off my back.

I have been vaping for almost 7.5 years.
The first 6.5 years I was vaping 12mg strength liquid, and loving it.

Then one day I went straight to zero nicotine, and have been doing that for almost a year now.
Only because I refuse to pay the $50/month extortion fee for being a nicotine user.

I didn't miss the nicotine one bit from a physiological standpoint.

But the lack of throat hit was intolerable.
So much so that I no longer vape any of my favorite flavors any more.

Now I vape Kringle's Curse mixed with Belgian Cocoa for the most part.
And every now and then I throw in some blueberry or pomegranate to spice things up.

I really need the mint in there so I can at least feel something.
But by God I sure do miss my Frosted Oatmeal Cookie and Halo Tribeca.
:(

If you want throat hit there are additives like Flash which you can use. I believe there are a few others but since I want the least TH I can get I have not pursued more knowledge or info on them.
A lot of people I trust have said they don't really work.
Or they might work but they are different and not so pleasant.

I don't know, maybe I should consider looking into it myself now.
