I've wondered how long these smoking bans would take to create violence. I thought the park bans in NYC would be the first. Senseless, but smokers are getting fed up with being pushed around and anger isn't a good mixer for alcohol.

That's a very sad story. The media could have fun with that. Smokers are not only pathetic addicts but will resort to violence and murder if denied their nicotine fix.

That's what they'll say.

And it could become true, as they reach their goal of making it as prohibited as those drugs.

Maybe, if those drugs were as legal as tobacco was a decade ago, it wouldn't have come up as an issue. (Feeling dark today.)

But, I have to say- there has been no arrest. The man's motives aren't known.

There's usually more to the story than you see in the news...

the psychological conflict caused by being... bald and bearded
