Just wondering if it would be best to just buy the unit, cap and a couple 18650s instead of the regular 18490s.
The extension cap looks better too, at least to me. I thought I'd miss the SS on either end but its quite the opposite.
Rounded edges on the cap kinda piss me off, as it is much easier to knock over than the standard flat cap. Don't really see why the stock cap & extension have different edge styles.
I'm in the same camp as all of you. I want to change batteries once every 2 days, not twice a day. I currently have a 900 mah Twist and a 650 mah eGo and I kill them both in a day. I have to take both to work for that reason, so I think the 2000 mah would be a much better option.
The rounded edges are what threw me off about it too, lol.
I found an easy and cheap fix for that.I bought an old wooden ashtray and some of that blue insulating foam from Home Depot. About 30 minutes with an exacto knife and some e-6000 and I had this.![]()
Holds a spare tank, a 30ml bottle of liquid and my Provari perfectly.
simple,, how would they sell two of them? more money in two provaris then one provari and an adapter. This is the reason I don't even understand the purpose of a standard ProVari anymore?
The circuit boards are exactly the same in the regular ProVari and the ProVari Mini... So why not ONLY sell the Mini, an extension cap for 18490's and an extension tube
At home the '490s, the larger ones on the road ... long trips.Just wondering if it would be best to just buy the unit, cap and a couple 18650s instead of the regular 18490s.
